Tattoos

Yes, those areas showcase tattoos beautifully. Unfortunately, tattoos on the tummy area and along the ribcage tend to permanently stretch and become distorted during pregnancy. Just something for us feminine types to keep in mind:)

If it's on the side of your ribcage, it might not be stretch if it's closer to your back than your chest/stomach. But in general, most tattoos in a nearby vicinity are potentially affected. Pregnancy changes each woman's body differently, so it's hard to predict.

Just got my second tattoo on Wednesday. It's my mother's birthdate in roman numerals :flower:

Thanks guys :)

Wings, it's my mother's birthdate, not my brother's. I actually have the letters CAK on the back of my neck in cursive (mine, my father's, and my brother's initials), so I chose to get my mother's birthdate so I can have my whole family with me forever :flower:

My brother would think I was insane if I tattooed a reference to him on my body. I've noticed a lot of people getting tattoos to honor their closest relatives and friends (birthdates, initials etc.), and I think it's a very sweet gesture. It's just not for me, especially since my parents and brother don't really like tattoos. They'd feel like they were contributing to the madness, lol.

Haha yeah I could understand that. I actually got the initials to honor my father who passed away back in September, and my brother and I just happen to have the same initials.

I've had a black petalled rose tattoo done when I was about 16, I don't regret it one bit

sorry, reading is not my thing

You're right! and I do always love tattoos that swirl across the upper stomach... Okay thank you! I'm really thinking designing one now ^_^

No problem! Good luck on the designing, I can't imagine how much work it must take to design an intricate henna piece  Be sure to keep us posted!

My new tattoo, this makes #6. It's a June Carter Cash tattoo. I love it.

Meh, that's nothin. I have Guernica by Picasso tattooed on my arm.:innocent:

I sometimes wonder what these artists would make of tattoo tributes to their work. I like to think that Picasso would be delighted and amused by it. Klimt, not so much.

i got my tattoo over a year ago now.
each rose represents 1 of my best friends.
im also getting a new tattoo later this week :D
here is a photo of my rose tattoo:
