I have a very small tatoo on my lower back, right hip. I sometimes forget about it cause I don't see it. I wouldn't want another one though

I have three.
They're all in "hidable" places and thus feel very private to me. I love them and think that they represent less of a permanent identity marker, and more of an identity signpost, reminding you of some past self that still informs your current self, though might not be immediately relevant.

and an owl in flight on my right shoulderblade.

Apparently white tattoos don't always stay in place well... but they will be lighter than your skin colour

I'm not too fond of it. Especially that Yoda one, it looks cheesy 
I am planning to get my first tat for my birthday in about a month. I looked through this thread and I wanna know what you guys think.
idea 1: Hawaiian islands (like a silhouette of the state map) maybe 3" big just inside my hipbone on the front. Like when you have a bikini on you see it, when you have jeans on you don't.
idea 2: Something more personal like a hand of g-d or other religious symbol of something meaningful to me written in hebrew (I just haven't decided what yet! ) If it's the hand then on the back of my neck or between my shoulder blades because it's a symbol of protection. If it's something else, then maybe somewhere else, I would have to decide based on what . . .

I want something done on my feet (well i want to start there first) in green ink... a bit up to the ankle..... i haven't decided yet as to what i wanted done.. i am still thinking.... pain is going to be an issue though... because the skin is so thinner on feets and there are some big veins down there... 
i also want an inner arm tattoo on the area just above the elbow.... and on the front of the arm as well (on top of it).... all in green ink.... i don't like full sleeves and colors.... i went something really timeless but cutting edge at the same time.....

Thanks for your opinion! I told my mom about it and she thought the islands was silly but she thought the idea 2 wasn't so bad although she'd prefer nothing (too bad!). I just have to decide about details now.
