Tattoos

Your tats are very aesthetically pleasing Solg! And it is hard to get that because there are sooooooooooo many ugly tattoos in the world. Congrats!

thanks lifenaturelove :) ...can't wait to explore some more options

I have a question for you guys.

I'm probaly going to get my toenail removed permanelty because it's very painful, and well there is just a lot wrong with it, but anyways. I was talking to one of my friends, and she suggested that I get a tattoo of a toenail, like the outline. But I don't think that it would work because the tattoo would be outlined in black, and toenails arent black...So, I'm not sure what to think of that idea, I hate the look of no toenail, but I need it removed.

So any help would be great. Thanks.

My friend and I were sitting reading this thread together yesterday and she says that she knows someone with a removed big toenail and it looks like a toenail still and the skin is hard like a toenail, except there is not toenail. So I dont think you are gonna have a problem. Please dont get a design there though! I cant think of an uglier place to have a tat

Why would the outline necessarily be in black? Tattoo dyes come in all colors.. :flower:

I wonder if any of the older member of tFS have tattoo's, and what they think of them now?

i've been contemplating whether to get more tattoos for the past couple of years because i'm an actor and tattoos can limit what i can audition for but i've finally decided that i want to get more :-) so far i only have the back of my neck done (posted a pic on page 23).
i want to get half sleeves down my upper arm starting from my shoulders to my elbows, lots of flowers, really bright etc. i got my neck done 4 years ago and i don't regret it at all. you only live once :-)

extremely, at least where i got mine

i figured that too. the skin is so thin and sensitive and the bone is near so it's going to hurt :p already doing my upperback was kind of awful. i had never before even realized how sensitive my upperback is until i sat down for 4 hours to get tattooed:doh:

Wow, four hours! I could not imagine.
The white one on the inside of my wrist took about 45 because he kept going over and over it since its hard to tell.
The black one on the other wrist took about 5 mintues, pretty quick but it actually hurt more than the white. I think it depends on the artist and how "heavy handed" they are.
BTW sweets love the tattoos!

well the artist i go to is sort of a perfectionist, which isn't a bad thing at all. the tattoos he makes are all so well done that it would be hard to even imagine to change artist.
and anyways my tattoo was quite big with all shades and everything. here's a pic ^_^

it's still healing, so this isn't the actual tattoo yet. or it's hard to see all the shades since they are quite dark now
