Ok so now my skin is all starting to peel/flake off so it looks even worse but I don't want to keep you waiting. I took a few pics right after I got it so I'll just post those. I hope none of the ink flakes off. If so I'll just go back to have it touched up. I've heard the foot is famous for pushing the ink out. Hopefully mine stays on well though.

And freida, have you seen Erin Wasson's tat? It just like you described you wanted. Search in her thread or in the "models with tats" thread for a pic.

Thank you. It's just colored with a bit of white and grey. Any pinkishness was just leftover bleediness.

Pinksatin, please post pictures as soon as its healed a bit more! I'm thinking of getting a feather on my ribs/under my bra line.

I have a feather on my ribs, I love it.
There's a picture of Erin towards the middle of the thread with hers. I actually took the picture because I liked her design best. But mine is more up on the body than hers, the tip of the feather is hidden by my bra.

I'd been considering a feather on the ribs before I'd really seen Erin's! But if I do go through with the feather tatt, I will probably end up taking a picture of hers to the parlor with me.

Pinksatin, what a beautiful tattoo! I have a rosary on my ankle, with the cross on the top of my foot. I had it done November 2006 and I don't see a difference in how my tattoo looks. Perhaps it depends on your artist and the parlor you go to!

I lurrrrrrrrrrrve tattoos. I have a couple. i have a moon and star on the back of my neck. Completely looks like I got plucked in prison. Not my fav, a rose on my hip, oh how cliche haha, bats on my beeeehind, an original walt disney sketch of michael from peter pan on my calf, and my newest, an artsy sketch of an old style train on the back of my arm. My next one will probably be a piano on the back of my other arm, for my papa who plays.

Thank you it was inspired by frankenstein, I'm also getting his bride on the other side. Its on the top of my ribs right under my breast on the right

I think I will go back for a check up when it is completely healed and my skin is smooth again. It's still pretty flaky and rough.

Ponyshow, yours are all so interesting and the ones you posted look great. I love the train one the most! Did you draw that yourself? Besides the feather I have hawaiian islands on my hip (I lived there for a few years for uni) and a hamsa with "may god bless you and keep you" in hebrew around it on my back.
