I'm dying for another tattoo or two, I want one or two on my forearms or wrists perhaps but keep changing thoughts on what to get. I want writing I think, but I think it'll be awhile until I'm certain on just what.

I really admire lots of the tattoos I've seen in this thread...seriously, I have a few ideas of ones that I'd like to get, but always chicken out. I never know where on my body I really want it, which is obviously problematic seeing as it's permanent! Something with a song lyric and some kind of bird/abstraction of a wing/flying. Have considered "be here now." (based on the Ray LaMontagne song).

What does anyone know about tattoos that are inked on in WHITE? I'd like white so that it's not as obvious and easily hidden under clothes, especially white or sheer cloth.

I'm considering my favorite lyrics in white on the inside of my arm. That way it is easily hidden.

Just warning you that white tattoos look great at first, but age really badly (it can end up looking like you had some strange splotchy pale birthmark).

The inner bicep is a great place for a tattoo (I have one there that says "I am woman Hear me roar"), especially if it's placed right. People don't really notice my tattoo until I lift up my arm, and it's easily hidden by sleeves for jobs.

I've been thinking about the doors...
Like "wild child" or "kata ton deimonia eatoy" which is the inscription on jim's tomb.
It's the last idea I've got for a tattoo. I'm finally trying to find a lot of ideas so I get the one I will like for the longest time.

i want to get a small bow tattoo but i can't find any really good pictures or examples of bows. i've seen some cute ones but then i've seen others where the tattoo came out horrible.

so does anyone know of any cute bow tattoo pictures or where i can find any? maybe i can mesh them together to create my own creation or something lol

hi all so i have been thinking about getting a tatt for ages now.....was going to get one when i was in europe but didnt end up happening so decided that i am finally going to get one before my 20th bday [ 2months time]
my ideas
1. a swallow on my lower back....my understanding of the meaning is that swallows travel great distances and always return home [ like me!!] so to me it represents loyalty and staying true to your roots and it was also a symbol of hope for sailors i believe.
2. either: chinese symbol for ocean/ small star or group of 4 stars/ or a moon crescent-star either behind my ear/wrist/ ankle/ hip. [ see below pics]any suggestions or reccomendations would be appreciated
