thats true because the skin on your palms and feet are different (i think it renews faster?!) i have one on the side of my finger its only a tad faded so im gona get it touched up and also planning another one on a different finger.

how long have you had yours? i just don't understand how his was fading in just a week!

i've had mine since the 13th of feb, it also depends on how well it is done. theres an artist called thomas hooper who does tattoos on hands and they last!

the image was too large to post but thats a link to a hand tattoo hes done thats a year old.

so it can be done! i wouldnt be impressed if mine had faded after just one week

if it was me i'd go back and ask for it to be touched up! i know they warn you that it will fade blah blah blah but it can be done, so a week is just a waste of money

oh i love that finger tattoo... love the idea of a peacock feather too - especially cos it has a cute meaning to me (id get it on my foot tho) but id have to find a really really good tattoo artist since its really detailed

I really want a feather tattoo on my ribs, how painful is it to get something tattooed there? I know there is a lot of difference in pain tolerance between different people but how is it in comparison to other areas like a wrist or a hip tat?

i have a "move" tattoo above my ***.. but i am gonna widen it a bit, cause its a whole phrase from lance armstrong's book : move, if you can move, you are not sick.

for me it means a lot. i am a professional bike racer, like lance, and he means a world to me.

then i am going to have a romy schneider-inspired tattoo a bit higher on my back - "i have only one life and i want to live it".

I have two tattoos. On the sole of my right foot, i have 4 stars. Someone said to me once: you've walked the clouds and some stars got stuck. It has different meanings to me.

My other tattoo is a small text: "Sapere Aude", with an oldschool pink bow behind it. It means you have to think about things, you shouldn't believe everything is true and be critical mind.

There are tons of options for getting matching tattoos, it's just a matter of picking something you both love and can agree on:
-you could get each others' initials
-if you have a family crest/emblem
-you could get each others' fav flower/bird etc
-you could each get a half heart/moth/skull etc and when you put them together they make a whole picture.

Those are just a few off the top of my head.

Where abouts on the sole of your foot are the stars? I really want to get a tattoo on the underside of my foot or under my toes but my bf says no one will do it because it wont last/ will come off straight away

It's really in the middle of my sole, on the thinnest part of my sole and was reaaaaaaaally painful! It is true that I doesn't last as long, but it's placed really deep into my skin (I had to come back 3 times). With a normal tattoo, your colours get vague. I have the same thing, but I have to go back one a year or every two years, to renew it, but that's free. When you go to a good tattooshop, it's included in the price... I still love my tatto though

That looks awesome! I dont mind getting it redone, I dont even mind if it comes off completely. I just want to get a heart on my big toe and a J on the other and maybe some other outlines of things on other toes. No colour, just black.
