Teen Vogue December 2008/January 2009 : Kristen Stewart

Alasdair McLellan

I spy faux-Balenciaga LBD (for $138) on Selina

style
that's what i love about teenvogue .... sometimes they offer you catwalk ideas for 10% the prize of the real thing ... remember when they did the Balenciaga's ethnics inspired story ? genius ...
but sincerely when i look at this story ... it's like looking at Bee ... ie this is soo Vogue US daughter .... but that's the concept, right ? so i needn't complain ....

anyway love Dolce Vita ... styling i love ...

it just dawn on me that this is the same little girl from Panic Room! I seriously need to get with the times! lol

I agree about the pocket format.
At first, I thought it was more practical which it is for the métro but I just like having a "real" big, tall magazine in my hands.

Wasn't XavierRaphael referring to the fact that Teenvoque this time was even better than the November issue of Vogue ?

I actually like the cover. Kristen doesn't do the cutsey, perky, HSM look- shes edgy, very unTeen Vogue. loves it.

^^Love that ed, the styling is great is like young victorian, that head piece look familiar to me but I don't remember where I saw it.

Anyone knows who's the designer of the guy's first jacket..I need it.

I don't think I've misinterpreted what XavierRaphael was saying.
Simply agreeing with him that I'd prefer a "normal" size for the mag...

Wow. Whoever styled her needs to be "repositioned". It's so not her!
She has a really androgynous beauty...and she can't do high fashion, or even mainstream commercial fashion.
She definitely should have had a more alternate/indie chic styling, something that would have suited her. I seriously don't get how magazines can get the covers SO wrong all the time??? Weird.

I love that.^_^ It happens to me all the time, i see covers, and edits here on TFS and hate them, then i get the actual mag and my feelings after seeing it in real life completly change.Seeing pictures aint always the same thing as the real deal.-_-

Although, sometimes I find the cover stars on Teen Vogue a bit irritating, I generally love the eds, the stories are so well put together, its very cute and fresh and I love the diversity of the models they use, different ethnicities, its great.
Australian Dolly and Girlfriend are extremely hopeless, they use Teen Vogue as a huge inspiration, pretty much mirror all the eds, but use the same models, i.e. blonde, blue-eyed (not that anything is wrong with that, its just Australia is made up of all nationalities, we're not all Anglo-Saxon) it gets very tiring seeing the same thing being played out over and over again.

I love La Dolce Vita. I adore the first shot, it looks so natural and Sigita's expression is so cute.^_^
