Teen Vogue February 2008 : Karlie Kloss, Chanel Iman & Ali Michael by P. Demarchelier

This seems to be a pretty great issue! Its nice to get a break from seeing the same actresses on every cover. Plus, I think readers will be able to relate to Ali, Chanel, and Karlie better than they would with 20 year old super celebrities. The cover is very fresh and Simona's ed is just down right cute! ^_^ Reminds me of Drielle's Teen Vogue ed from a few years back. Thank you for all the scans Alix!

It's only Christmas yet they're talking about Valentines day.

Also, in the interview, this is Chanel Iman's aspirations:
1. To get into acting in action movies (She already has an acting coach)
2. Get a beauty contract
3. Walk Victoria's Secret (She's working on her body)

:innocent:

All of that horrifies me. But if she quits modeling to do b-list movies, that'd be great, just so I don't have to see her anymore. :D But she is so not meant for VS.

great cover. The colours are a bit pale though.

Chanel as a VS model & actress? She`s such a great model and I would hate for her to cross over and be an actress (which i doubt she`ll be a good one). But Chanel with a beauty contract isn`t so bad :)

and they're wearing peter jensen!.
as if I needed another reason to pick up this issue . . :o:wub:!
the pink, olive & grey combination in the first picture is just excellent!.

& I love the the 'dream girls' edit.
anytime one can combine whites, greys & navys against sand & ocean. . the result is bound to be wonderful.

what a great issue it seems. i hope its not woefully thin. does anyone else wish teen vogue was a standard size?

I like how it's a little magazine.I see what you mean about the thin issues though, but teen vogue does manage to pack a lot of content in.

it's an adorable cover. ali and chanel are wonderful, but i'm still trying to get used to karlie. i'll definitely have a better opinion on her once her pringle & nina ricci ads come out.

One word she will not be accomplishing any of those anytime  Even the beauty contract thing is kinda out of reach imo

^i just got it today in the mail, so I guess it should be on newsstands now or very soon! Just wanted to add that Heloise Guerin also has an editorial and there is a short beauty ed with Imogen Morris-Clarke and Eleonore @ Next.

Such a fresh, suitable cover ^_^

And I look forward to finally seeing the lovely Heloise in print.

Thanks a lot for scanning, alix :flower:
