I use archival pens/markers in small sizes like 005 or 01 to sketch...then go over with Prismacolor markers or pens. Sometimes I use pencil to sketch, too.
Something I did in fashion class. Used to have to repetitively copy sketching templates and I'd add weird hair and excessive shading.

Pastry, how do you keep the watercolor from going inside the lines for the white details? I don't have the patience for watercolor, I always want to do it when there's no possible way to cart water and paintbrushes around, haha.
