they look awful photographed though and they are too big to scan

i think the theme was edwardian nights but i think i may have mixed up two of the themes

You can scan in sections and assemble on photoshop... I've done that Just make sure they are all lined up at the same angle.

these illustrations are based on Baby Doll and inspiration from Mondrian! i hope they're likeable

And the thing is i cant really draw fashion sketches and i dunno why.
How do u people learn? just draw? or use another piece of drawing as a guideline?

i want to draw a few pieces for my portfolio too.

Hey VintageDolly

Well...i learned in University as i took up fashion designing as a bachelor program..so they basically taught us the 8 head technique...which is basically the proportions of a figure....if you can do that....then rest is all just putting the flesh and clothes to the figure!

u can find sample figures/croquis on the net! i wud love to see your work!

i might be enrolling myself into fashion design courses but i need a portfolio first. ur oil painting are nice, i like the different tones on it, cause i think i'm really bad at shading

DanieLevi, if only ur second piece of drawing came to me 2 years ago, then u can come out with a prom dress for me! lol. i wanted something that flares at the bottom, so the whole dress will make me look like a 'mermaid' then. but the thing is no one understands what i was saying.

Wow! Everyone's fashion sketches are so proffessional! Haha, mine shouldn't even be allowed to be considered as fashion sketches! They're just the product of REALLY boring lectures (i.e. finance, accounting, literature and admin tech.) and my unwillingness to take notes.

I generally doodle what I would wear the next day . Haha.
