the symmetrical print details are painted separately at high resolution , scaled down, and mixed up in different layers , and I also added a texture at the collar (a brahmin moth)
I didn't want to replicate the original McQueen dress since I do not want to simply COPY his amazing breathtaking design, I wanted to let myself inspired by his genius work, it's really just a tribute, I felt so sorry and shocked by his death I just had to do this... I'm really glad I got so much positive feedback ,thank you all , really, it's flattering, it makes me so happy

Elle M I love your Alexander McQueen. Such great watercolour usage- and how on earth did u manage to depict all that beautiful highlighted detail of the dress print? Is it done digitally? It's beautiful!

MUXU yours is awesome- you've totally encapsulated Alber's simple yet extremely effective style. So elegant!

I think now I'm gonna try my hand at depicting some of the looks from Balenciaga's most recent!

thank you, GWOD, I started out by sketching it in mechanical pencil (0.5 mm), then I painted the background and dress prints elements SEPARATELY ,and after wards I scanned all of them , and used photoshop layers to bring them together, twitch, adjust, modify so as to suit my concept... so the digital part is just about ..30% of it
