The Acne Thread

U guys Acne free is SOOO good. I had been contemplating buying it because I thought something over the counter would never work. But it has really done magic! I love it. If you are skeptic try it for yourself. I have really oily skin so I break out really easily and I have no more breakouts
Tips:
Wash your face with Apricot Scrub from St. Ives or other Generic Brand (Once a day...I do it once a day because since my skin is very oily I constantly have to remove dead skin cells and what not), 3 step Acne Free, Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil (it will keep you from going greasy, it is colorless so it guys and girls can apply it, and it will NOT clogg your pores.

P.S. Does anyone know what works best w/ acne scars

^ i read that orange juice is good, too... from an actual orange, not like... tropicana.
Hmm that's good to know! And the same goes with lemon juice- fresh, not the kind that comes in that little plastic lemon (apparently there's added sugar and such which messes your skin up).
Missivtec22 i had a pimple under my skin and I did the lemon juice and baking soda mix and it's nearly gone within 24 hours. I'm telling you, it worked for me!
:flower:

just a warning... the lemon thing sometimes stings!
...
this is random but I've been using aveeno body lotion as my face moisturizer and it actually has been so much better for my skin all those oil-free, anti-acne moisturizers! Even though it feels like it makes your skin oily at first, I've actually stopped getting pimples since i switched...

yes lemon is amazing, I did this little test drinking lemon with hot water in the morning and at night for a week , i was skeptical but the results are amazing. It works from the inside out therfore its dealing with the problem head on as apposed to the effects which helps clear it up. My complexion was noticeably more uniform and clear and glowing. i allot of raw lemon juice on my face each day it a miracle worker for scars.

So I've been reading up on acne.org and a lot of people suggested lemon juice and baking powder. Anyone have been brave enough to try this?
I like to use baking powder mixed with my cleanser as an exfoliant for my face. That stuff is amazing!

that's because aveeno is oatmeal, pretty much. :)

Apple cider vinegar is very very good. But DO NOT USE ANY OTHER ACV aside from Braggs
I tried commercial ACV and I was a wreck for 2 months.:shock:
Braggs ACV is so good , just use a cotton bud and dot it on your spots..

I would like to know about that too, what is the best thing to get rid of scars?

^^^ there is also products out there that help with scars. try visiting a sephora near you and speaking to a skin care specialist, they usually know a ton about very good products that are out within the market that may be able to help you out. don't speak for a regular associate, though! ask for a specialist! and with sephora, there is a bottom of the bottle return policy, so if you buy some super expensive product for scars and it doesn't work, you can return it and be reimbursed completely. :flower:

^ i don't know if that was sarcasm, but i swear, sephora has some awesome stuff!

personally, i've only ever tried philosophy's hope and a prayer topical vitamin c powder, and that worked for me. i had a tiny childhood scar on my face, tiny though, and mixing the powder into my moisturizer on a daily basis made it disappear. :flower:
