I've been using acne products from brands like Shiseido, Clinique, and Proactiv... mostly the department store expensive kind of stuff =( and really... none compares to what I have recently discovered...
Proactiv... worked, skin cleared up... although I thought it was too "chemical." however once the acne was gone and i stopped using it... and i was back to square one (acne came back) and the proactiv no longer helped my skin.
Shiseido... totally made my skin FLIPPPPP OUT. I ended up with ten times worse acne than I had started out with. Not only did I get more acne... my face went REDDDD! WORST PRODUCT EVER (acne wise)
Clinique... used this right after the Shiseido incident... helped out on reducing the immense acne I now had... but didn't really feel like there was any big change... it felt like either I used it or didn't, there was no difference.
oh... and I also used
Kiehl's
thought it might be a more natural approach but nope didn't work... along the same lines as Clinique.
I never really considered those supermarket brands like Neutrogena and Clean&Clear, etc. but I heard a lot of great things about
Cetaphil... and I happened to be at CVS so I thought I'd give it a try... and what do you know! my skin is in the best condition it's ever been in! I'm using the normal to oily daily facial cleanser and it's AMAZING! less redness... wayyy less acne... and it doesn't dry out my skin at all! retains moisture and removes oil =)
very happy with the results and thought i'd share
