Has any1 tried origins spot remover? DAMN that stuff is strong! seriously i bet if you put it on metal it will eat right through it.

^which product from l'oreal do you use for that? what's it called?

Well I use the Wrinkle Decrease and the Anti-re-shine, both of which apparently also calm the skin after a shave.
I also use Nivea for men Extra Sooting Balm which is really good ^_^

i found a way to get rid of my break out!
My sis had a med that she used for her acne on the back but it's indicated for the face as well, it's called DALACIN T and it's from pfizer..i don't know if you need a prescription to get it but it works, it's actually great!

Is daily use of benzoyle peroxide bad? I use a 2% daily because I am following Dan's procedure but I've heard that it ages skin which seems almost harmful to already disastrous skin.

Has anyone tried out any of the Origins Organic face products?

I have used the Matte scientist lotion, which smells awful,I only put it before bed and the topical Spot remover which was okay but not too drastic. Both were so and so, I don't exactly recommend them:flower:

garlic is so good but not for sensitives skins!!! I am burnt but all pimples gone! Now just using a emu oil moisturizer and all gone perfect skin..

The makers of the no!no! hair remover are making a device similar to the Zeno soon so maybe everyone keep an eye out for it.

I've been using acne products from brands like Shiseido, Clinique, and Proactiv... mostly the department store expensive kind of stuff =( and really... none compares to what I have recently discovered...

Proactiv... worked, skin cleared up... although I thought it was too "chemical." however once the acne was gone and i stopped using it... and i was back to square one (acne came back) and the proactiv no longer helped my skin.

Shiseido... totally made my skin FLIPPPPP OUT. I ended up with ten times worse acne than I had started out with. Not only did I get more acne... my face went REDDDD! WORST PRODUCT EVER (acne wise)

Clinique... used this right after the Shiseido incident... helped out on reducing the immense acne I now had... but didn't really feel like there was any big change... it felt like either I used it or didn't, there was no difference.

oh... and I also used Kiehl's
thought it might be a more natural approach but nope didn't work... along the same lines as Clinique.

I never really considered those supermarket brands like Neutrogena and Clean&Clear, etc. but I heard a lot of great things about Cetaphil... and I happened to be at CVS so I thought I'd give it a try... and what do you know! my skin is in the best condition it's ever been in! I'm using the normal to oily daily facial cleanser and it's AMAZING! less redness... wayyy less acne... and it doesn't dry out my skin at all! retains moisture and removes oil =)

very happy with the results and thought i'd share :flower:

 for Cetaphil it works for me too! Well not 'hugely' but at least my skin isn't overly dry

I really recommend the Clarisonic facial brush. I use it in tandem with Shiseido's gentle cleanser morning and night for 2-3 minutes and it's taken my skin from an unpredictable mess to calm and decongested. I still break out a bit but it's not such a big deal. It's manageable. When I used it for the default 1 minute it didn't really do anything, so bear that in mind. Using it correctly makes a big difference. I have sensitive, combination skin, so it's really tricky to deal with.

I also recommend Boscia's SPF 15 day time moisturizer (not the oil-free version). It's not greasy and it's very moisturizing, with no irritating ingredients.

My dermatologist put me back on tetracycline (I went off accutane in october and my face was fully clear but now I keep on getting small pimples and very clogged pores/bumps everywhere).

I was on tetra 4 years ago and then it didn't work for me. I'm hoping it'll work now that my acne is so much milder.
Any experiences?

I'm also taking fish oil, but I don't think I got the right kind. I'm using the ones I have for now though, since I bought them.

I also use Diacneal (Avene) at night, but haven't been using it long enough to see clearing. I think I'm purging a little first.

Can anyone recommend a good oil-free moisturizer? I've been using Olay with SPF but I think the hot weather is causing me to break out. I can't say for sure though.
