u can see the redness and bumps on my forehead and on my cheeks too

have you ever tried using murad? i've never had acne (except for the occasional period pimple that arrises once a month, which i hate and drives me nuts! :yuk: that's why i joined this thread!) so i've never tried it, but my cousin dani had horrible acne at one point in time and i took her to a skin care store and that's what they recommended. as soon as she was using it for a while, it really helped her.

we dont have murad in australia. right now im using neutrogena oil free acne wash, then a organic witch hazel toner, followed by clean and clean oil free moisturiser mixed with sun screen. Some times (once a week) i use st ives blemish controlling apricot scrub!

^ i've heard quite a few people here on tfs say that st. ives is no good at all, but i can't say that i know that for sure. i've never used it. i use dr. hauschka skin care, which i think is amazing.

Omg!:cry:I have this on my left cheek. I have never had something like that. What do to?? Should I just leave it?
just don't ever squeeze!
Try a mask with healing earth or go to the pharmacy and ask them for a cream with sulfur.

That looks really sore, Isa. Don't go too berserk with cleansing you'll just hurt the skin. Try gently pressing a cotton wool pad soaked in witchhazel on it for a few minutes. It'll cool the area down. I wouldn't squeeze anything as I can actually see a line of infection going from spot to spot at the bottom, have you tried antibiotics?
Thanks to all of you.:flower:
No, I haven't, I have doctor next week. But the thing is, I don't want to take birth control pills, they have so many side effects.:yuk:

I take care of my skin, I clean it, wash it properly, I rarely use any make up-just concealer- it's not that I'm careless (what people usually think if you have problems with skin).

I used to use Avene Cleanance K, now I have Diacneal. I don't want to be harsh with my skin, and beside that, I try to use only non-comedogenic, natural and/or organic cosmetic.
Some people suggested me to do facial every month.

Since i drink more water (about 10 glasses) a day, my skin got better, i never had big problems with acne, only few pimples and greasy skin, but as i said water works for me!B) I know how hard can it be, if someone has lots of acne, people try all sorts of products, but nothing works as it should! Good luck everyone:flower:

Be careful with steaming, if it's too hot you can cause some broken capillaries on your face which leads to reddness that doesn't go away!

I didn't know this! Thanks for the info.

I used to steam my face when I had no acne and it kept me clear until I had a breakdown and started eating junk.

Recently these little bumps have been popping up all over my face, first on my forehead and then around my chin and cheeks where I have never had problems before. I don't know what to do to get rid of them or prevent them :S pleasee somebody help!
