yes, quite a teenager topic.
does anyone know how to really get all those f*cking annoying zits and blackheads and all that acne-stuff go away? I've had acne for six years, and I'm really getting fed up.it's not the worst one,but still very visible and my skin looks unclean.
I'm feeling I've tried everything; I drink 2 litres of water every day, I don't eat junkfood, I do sports, I eat plenty of veggies and fruits,I take multivitamins and I eat antibiotics (they help a bit, but not as much as I was hoping...I've been taking them like one month and a half now).I wash and moisturize my face every morning and night,no matter how tired I'd be.I don't use almost any make up (I know I should, but I really just am not the best to magically get that awful skin away with foundation...looks twice as bad then!).I get plenty of sleep.I've tried every brand of acne-killing products in the stores, but actually nothing helps.and I don't smoke.
please help moi, I really wanna get healthy skin next year!!!I don't even remember what is it like to have clear skin...

Hi Franny,
It sounds like you are doing everything right... so sometimes it is just genetic... but to further add your regiment.
I have constant acne too but my regiment consist of:
Peter Thomas Roth Medicated BPO 5% acne wash.
Shiseido face cleaner
(just a note I wash my face twice everytime I wash my face! It helps greatly! BTW... before you use your hand to wash your face, get a cheap simple anti-bacteria liquid soap wash and REALLY REALLY clean your hand before you wash your face, that helps too!) BUT you really have to be careful on the ones that dries out your face too much. Don't use those.. that will make it worse.
and then I use Orlane B21 Purete Astringent toner for my pores. I have big visible pores and at least for me Orlane helps me to get smaller pores. As well always always use toners.. you will be surprised to see what comes off your face even after 2 washes.
As for acne cream... for me I use proactive or some other brands such as Peter Thomas Roth. Use Qtips to apply. Always use one Q tip for each face, and then take another Qtip and dabb onto another pimple. That way it will stop the bacterial infection. That really helps!
After that I apply a moisturizer( I don't know what you use, but for me I use different kinds) but you have to becareful what Moisturizer you use.. .can't be greasy ones.
As for additional note. I have found use face mask twice a week helps a lot.
For the big bad red nasty pimples, I use Mario Badescu's Drying lotion. Work wonders for me. It is an overnight treatment that will reduce the redness of the pimple and make it smaller overnight. But once the cream is dried, it flakes off easily which I don't like but hey as long as it works right?!
When All fails for me another really good one to use Kielhs' Drawing Paste with Azulene. This is a very greasy cream that reduced the pimple fast too. BUT it itches for me. Apparently it contains Zinc or Sulfur that is suppose to help calm the pimple.
Ok.. now... thats too much detail and personal for my face regiment!
BUT I really hope this helps you out a bit
Just always always wash your hand and make sure they are clean before you get it even near you face for anything!
