It's such a shame that they don't think to expand their shade range in foundations. For the brand name alone, they would have women all over the world willing to pay and the fact their formulations are praised by various MUA's... such a shame.

soleil tan de chanel , is it a bronzer cream type thing or all over face makeup?

you have to put it on there where you want to have the effect; the sun kissed your skin...

has anyone tried the Le crayon kohl in Clair? I'm really into the wide-eyed look atm and have been looking for a flesh or beigey coloured eyeliner like crazy .

So far, Chanel's the only brand available in Chile were I know they have flesh tone eyeliners...if anyone knows of other brands (preferably cheaper brands xD) that may carry a flesh tone eyeliner I'd very much appreciate it if you'd let me know

Oh, and to add to the thread: A few years ago I bought le vernis in Rouge Noir...it's a gorgeous colour but I find it has little staying power.

Le Crayon Kohl in Clair is a one-shot, you're a lucky person when you find it in some place!!

Are they really discontinuing Soleil Tan (cream)? That is terrible! First Prolumiere and now this I'd go buy an extra one but I'm nowhere near finished my current one and I worry about it going off by the time I finish it.

A review of a Coco Shine. Testing them out, I also got the feeling that I would use up these lipsticks faster than a chapstick, because of the consistency of the product (temptalia.com

Chanel Monte Carlo Rouge Coco Shine ($32.00 for 0.10 oz.) is a semi-sheer, pinked red with subtle pink shimmer. The Rouge Coco formula is designed to be a lightweight lipstick with high shine and a moisturizing base. Based on the description of the color range, it is expected to be sheerer rather than opaque. (If you’re looking for something more opaque, Rouge Allures will be more up your alley.)

It’s a lightweight, nearly scent-free (I couldn’t distinguish what it was, but it was very faint), and has an emollient base. It applies evenly and smoothly, because it has that balm-like quality. Unfortunately, it only lasts two to three hours on me, but I would say it is on the moisturizing side, though not as moisturizing as my favorite lip balms.

I do wish these were the same size as other lipsticks in Chanel’s line (like 0.12 oz.), because of the emollient base, it’s easy to over-apply the product–and the need for reapplication being every couple of hours means you’ll go through a tube much faster than other lipsticks in Chanel’s range.

Monte Carlo is much more in line with what I expected based on Chanel's description - soft but noticeable color with translucence and shine. The color is soft and natural but still visible enough that it enhances the natural lip color across skin tones.

Well the Rouge Coco Shine is practically a tinted lip balm so they're not supposed to last long. If you want something long-lasting then I guess you'd have to buy a more pigmented and more matte lipstick, but that's no fun is it

Breakdown of the look from the Cruise show in Antibes, I haven't seen any closeups but the look is exactly my kind of makeup, so fresh, natural and pretty.

Mentioned is the new foundation - I heard on Makeup Alley there will be 18 shades in this formula, hopefully a pale one so I can finally see what all the fuss is about!
