Congrats Luckygirl, great bag for a steal!

I managed to slip away and pick up my black city today. As soon as I opened it I fell in love <sigh>. SOmetimes you feel the love and sometimes you don't, yk? Lilbou, I guess that's what happened to you, no love. My bag is quite shiny, almost like distressed patent leather, but not quite. I think it suits the black as it has depth.

Shirise seems to be a legitimate boutique - they carry a lot of high-end stuff and their Balenciaga is not actually for sale on the website - you have to call.

i think so too because someone had just post their new balenciaga picture on that board and it looks authentic. at least i hope it is because i just purchased a city lilac from them today! can't wait to get it:woot:

yeah i emailed shirise and they have the Lilac, Orange (Rust), Green and Emerald on sale for 20% off. The Black city is not on sale but they do carry it.

Now I need a boobie or a ghost to go with my new bag. :ninja:Seen any in black lately?

SUNSPARK- I'm so happy you love your black city!:D I did see a black boobie on Bluefly this morning.

HELP!!! Who Can I Trust???

I just got the following email from a concerned eBayer about the Shoulder Bag I just won:

"Hello, I would just like to warn you about item 6878820866 that you just won. I know several people who have bought from this seller & it was all FAKE. You can obviously do what you want, but I would recommend that you ask for your money & say that you changed your mind. 369 dollars is far too much to pay for a replica. You can buy cheaper replicas at ioffer.com if that is what you want. But as far as I am concerned, you were ripped off. That is the reason you were the only one that bid on this. Thank you for your time. If you have any questions about my friend's experiences, feel free to ask."

What do you girls think? Does anyone have first or second-hand knowledge about this seller? I've paid via PayPal using my Credit Card as the source. Do you think the photos look legit? Should I just wait to get the bag and take the pics and post them here?

^ you only paid 369dollars? well, obviously it is fake unless the seller is stupid. if it was authentic, the seller would not let it go for such a cheap price!

Not necessarily - I sold a balenciaga magenta fold-over cluth for $350 on ebay and the original price was $695. I tried to get a better price, but no one was interested - I relisted 3 or 4 times and kept lowering the price. I have not examined the black shoulder that luckygirl won in detail, but its possible that the seller just wanted to get rid of it (like I did).

luckygirl, ugh, sorry to hear that.... i think since, you've already paid... wait to receive the shoulder bag then decide. if it truly is fake, then scream like hell... file a dispute and get your money back. please post pics when you get it, so maybe we can help you.

cougess, i remember that clutch. i still regret passing on it.

Luckygirl---I my cousin actually bought a clutch from that seller and was extremely disappointed (it was fake)! She did get her money back though. It was a very good fake & I could see how she made that mistake.

If I were you, I would not wait to get it because then you lose the money for shipping and ashipping to Hong Kong is very expensive. Save yourself the hassle and ask the seller for a refund. Maybe you can say you cannot afford it or something?

ANY amount of money is too much if you thought you were buying authentic!!!!

^^^ oh ya.....furthermore, a little while back, LP and I were debating about a couple items the seller had listed (2 clutches). But the seller was vague about the colours and what season they were from. Actually, the "cherry" they had listed did not seem to match ANY of the colours on Lp's blog, so that majorly put me off.

I'm sorry about what happened....but I do not think it is too late to get your money back. I would hate to see someone on here get ripped off :(

Hi lucky...to tell you the truth, I almost bid on that bag. The only reason I didn't was because I'm holding out for the black aulmonaire. It looks authentic to me, although I don't know anything about this seller. The auction does say 100% authentic or money back and its good that you paid with your CC. I hope this works out okay for you :flower:

Well, I've just emailed the seller and a couple of her previous B.bag buyers as there wasn't any feedback on them. I don't want to tell the seller I can't afford it or anything like that as it may weaken my case against her if the bag is a fake, so I was honest with her and wrote:

"I am sorry to ask this, but I need to cancel my order for this Balenciaga bag as I've been contacted by one of your previous buyers that the B.bag they got was fake and that you refunded them.

Please refund me through PayPal so you don't have to pay any fees on it. We can also inform eBay that we've come to a "mutual agreement not to complete the transaction" so you won't have to pay any final value fees either.

Then I will leave positive feedback for you. Again, I'm sorry about this, but I cannot go forward with this purchase now and I'd rather it be easy for us both."

Of course, the moment after I clicked send...I got this message from one of her previous buyers: "Hi, The transaction was fine- Lovely authentic bag & quick shipping. I just had not had a chance to leave feedback yet. Hope this helps." (that was the winner of item #6872302544 - Classic Motorcycle BALENCIAGA Bag Clutch - Violet)

:unsure:Well, unfortunately that doesn't help...now I don't know if she can tell an authentic Balenciaga bag from a good fake or not. Why did I set up that auction sniper and then leave the house...I don't even need another Balenciaga bag right now!?!?!

I remember those clutches...and I thought the "Cherry" one looked like it was Rose from the F/W 2004 collection and the "Violet" looked like it was Eggplant.

The Plot Thickens....

I just got a VERY interesting response from the seller:

"Hi, Can you let me know who is the previous buyer as I got no information on this. However, I got an email from another ebayer after this auction ends and asked me not to sell the bag to you because she had missed the auction and willing to pay more on this bag but I told her that I won't do that. So I think that she is playing game and the product that I sell is definitely authentic and I cannot accept such comments. Moreover, I have sold more than 100 items and you can read my feedback and understand that my products are authentic in excellent condition. Just to let you know the ebayer who wanted this bag is bfgf1985 (Andrea Rees). She has sent me email asked me to cancel your bid as she would pay more to get this bag. Thanks."

Well...you know what...it just so happens that bfgf1985 was the concerned eBayer that warned me about this seller and said the bag is a fake and to get out of the transaction if I don't want to be ripped off. I looked up her history and this is the girl that won the Poodle Bag...just thought that was kinda funny...but this is messed up if she's just trying to get the bag for herself in such a dishonest way.

But, ReesPiece, you say your cousin bought something from this seller (peachface326) that turned out to be fake and returned it. Can I have their username and an item description to jog this seller's memory?

Something smells like fish here. ReesPiece/bfgf1985, why would you contact the seller and offer more for this bag you've posted here to be fake? I'd be curious to take a look at the auction your cousin won also. I remember those two clutches and even though the colors were incorrect, they looked real. The current auction in question looks good, but I won't claim to be an expert. However, the inserts (how the tassles are wrapped & balenciaga tag down to the string), are perfect. Also the price is very much within reason. If it were a full sized bag, then I would wonder, but it's a small clutch/makeup bag with a strap.

Hello, I have never posted here before (but I have been a long time lurker)! LOL

To throw in my 2 cents.....buying from Hong Kong makes me nervous. Period.

Keep us updated!

Hm. The clutches from this seller raised a lot of questions when they were first listed because there had very few photos and the colors looked horrific. After several people asked her questions about them, she posted additional photos that looked absolutely authentic - one was rose and the other eggplant.

The Shoulder bag - I posted the auction number here because I thought it looked perfect, and her starting bid was a really, really good deal for the bag - but not low enough to make me think it was inauthentic. (And what cougess said about the magenta clutch - that should have been a hot item, but for whatever reason, it wasn't and someone got super lucky!) I still think the bag is legit.
