clucreciala, are you sure that's the part time and not the brief? I thought the part-time looked more like the city, only wider  Love your bags anyway, the black city w/gold looks really nice (and I thougt I didnt even like the new hw) ;)

bling,

i am not sure
why dont you call harvey nics and ask for James.. he is the brand manager. he should be able to tell you exactly what he has in stock ;)

Yeah that white bag of clucreciala's is definitely the new style called the "Brief." It's lovely in the white--I hadn't seen that before. I have a Blue India Part-Time and it is as you describe above (with a shoulder strap as well).

^ i'm wondering about that too just_me

and also,.. for a used 2005 or 2006 work balenciaga (18"across) how much would be a reasonable price to pay for it? any ideas? :D thanks

:) does any1 have both the work and city bag? i'm wondering which is easier to use? does the work bag handles go over the shoulder easily or does it have to be hand/arm carried? thanks in advance~

^ I have both and preffer thw work. Both the city and the work goes over the shoulder though. I'd say the city is a medium sized bag but the work is a good large size so it depends on what you like.

i would like to get both at some point :D what's a good size to start? i'm thinking of using it for work so i guess the work?

is there such a thing as balenciaga laptop bag? i saw it on ebay but wasn't sure. it looked like a normal laptop bag though.. no tassles or studs of balenciaga but it's called balenciaga too!

clu, congrats on your new babies. that is the brief. i saw it last week irl. it looks lovely! enjoy!

chic, the work handles is only slightly longer than the city. however, the city does have the shoulder strap, which can come in handy. for me, both fit and stay comfortably on my shoulders. but i think the work has a slight edge because my stuff is not sitting right under my armpit.
here's pics for comparison.

:woot: wow.. both are gorgeous! great size too! :woot: now i need both.. i thought the city would be too small for me. if u don't mind answering (hope i don't offend) r u petite?

ps: the red is eye poppingly gorgeous! lovin the blue too~

not offended at all. ;) i'm not petite. i am 5'5" and average weight. i have pretty much all the sizes and my personal favorite is the work. i have a toddler daughter, so i'm able to lug her stuff around too. sometimes having to use my weekenders instead. when she's not with me, the city is a perfect size. if you're using it for work, definitely get the work. don't try putting a laptop in it though. it won't zip. i have a 15.4" macbook pro (very slim and lightweight) and i have put it in my weekenders, but it's not very comfortable on the shoulder.

by the way, i'm loving the brief. possibly next on my list! thanks for sharing the pics.

Just to throw in another opinion... I have a work & love the size but for a "purse" especially, for me, one I use all the time it is the city. I am not little.. 5'9" & thin about 115, still the city is a great size & I carry way too much of
everything around with me. It holds a lot. I also like the part-time I have which is a little of each... the classique I find too small.

:clap:yay.. thanks esile.. at least now i know both bag will suit me i'm abit over 5"5 n really average weight. thanks! ^_^

:flower: cheers, pinkie thanks for adding.

overall both city n work are great. so many decisions! i don't wanna start talking colours.

ohh... one more thing.. is there a way to read the serials like stams to know which year they're made?

these - (top) No 0745Y (bottom) 132110 (behind) 1669
