I guess I might hold out for a later shipment with the black city. Also I really like the naturel and truffe colours, but I am worried the naturel is too light since I already have a city in calcaire. I would love the natural if it was a kind of light grey colour.

You should get the griege then. Thats a light grey color (with a hint of beige) Its very pretty.

luckyme- that bag is called the aulmoniere- very pretty. I saw a bunch of them at Aloha Rag recently, not the pale pink though.

thoughts on the new partition bag? I can't tell whether it comes in two sizes, or if somehow, the large version folds into a smaller bag, given that Matches is calling it the fold down bag. I really like the look of the leather and the shape in the smaller version.

I haven't seen it in person either, but it looks like the same frame hardware they've used in the past - the little button on the top pulls up to release the inner frame, which you pull open with the loop on the front. it's very cool.

usually you can find pretty nice sales on previous season colors at Barneys, Neiman, etc

BalNY itself though never marks their bags on sale, just clothes

shopper, i've gotten some bbags on sale before in the past from joan shepp, harvey nichols, koh samui, barneys, mixmodern, susans, and shirise. some of the boutiques have told me that they are not suppose to discount of balenciagas, so sometimes they keep the sales hush.

Balenciaga doesn't allow their bags to be sold online.

Browns Fashion in London has most of the styles on sale in limited colors.

You can try calling or emailing them to know what they have left.

I saw a city in a seafoam-ish colour at NM in the Fashion Show Mall, LAs Vegas today.
According to the SA, it was supposedly the only piece that they had in that colour.
I'm suspecting that it's probably vert d'eau and the leather's really great - wrinkly and thick. I nearly caved and bought the bag, but oh well, there's other stuff that I want more!
