PINKCHEEKS, Christina Aguilera is seen with the Purse bag a lot. She has it in Rouge 05 and pink. It looks great on her! Carmen Electra has it in pink as well. I'm not sure when it first came out but it's been around since 05.

I love the vibrancy of that blue roi. I read in Lucky that Amy Smart has one in the hobo shape, and it is that exact shade.

I believe the Purse used to be called the Shopper, it was reintroduced in 05 after being absent for a few seasons.

my friend was at the Balen boutique here in paris and she loved the big hardware on the bags..she said they only had black,brown,and dark blue..she loved the dark blue..i dont know what designs they are....im going to pass by this morning..i think i might get me a dark blue...it looks chic with the big gold hardware..i like it...im surprised alot dont...i think with black it might look cheap..but with other colors! ..plus its time to change it up a bit...ive been getting bored of my Bbags!!!will take piccs if i buy one

haha..5 hours later..i present you with my TWO new babies!! now i have 11 bbags:X- not sure if thats a good thing..but the leather is amazing!
the large hardware is gorgeous!!!
the first is a black work...as I have 9 bbags..non of them is black accept for a small classic that i got years ago and rarely use...so i decided to go with the black..the pic is crappy but guys its soo chic aqnd elegant!! even though its a work..its structured...can be worn out to dinner even! love it..
the second is truffe...but the name of the bag is something new..the guy told me but i forgot..its kinda like the city but has two zippers ..and i think it might be a bit bigger than the city..im not sure...its a bit heavy from all the hardware..but the color in this pic does not do it any justice...its a gorgeous color that even as i am wearing black today looked gorgeous!..
I dont remember the prices of the old ones..but are these moe expensive? as the smaller one was 1235 euros, and the work was 1295.. which is around $1500..isnt that more expensive? i think i remember the last weekender i bought was 1100 euros...i dont know...
anyway i bought them and thats it for bags for me :X

UNiQFashionista... they do look Stunning! I think the new hardware ones are a bit pricier and the City handles are supposed to be longer then on the regular City, which is very nice I think. They both do have an elegance with the added gold ... I think I like them! Beautiful bags....

i love the proportion of the giant hardware in the larger bags! i don't think i will miss the tassels in this case because of all the bling bling.

Quick question: bbags have never come with small zippers instead of buckles (at the bottom left/right of the bags) have they?
I know the new ones don't, as my box '06 has buckles

yup they have... its a very old style of the bag also came in suede

there is an old style with zipper, but its a lot of zippers. there are some *really* bad fakes out there with zippers instead of buckles.

I agree. I just do NOT like the giant hardware. The main reason I like Balenciaga bags is for the non-obtrusive hardware and lightness. The giant hardware makes it heavy... I'm not into it.
