Bleu Glacier, Aqua, Anthracite Cities & Matelasse in BG

Check out this pic of Cities in Bleu Glacier, Aqua (Cobalt), and Anthracite. I was very intrigued by the bright blue Matelasse in the background as well!

This photo is from Nordstrom Sacramento. The SA said that the aqua is actually more green IRL.

^ it's normal, I try to look for clothes in europe becuase of the huge difference.

^ it depends on the designer if somethines cheaper in europe, not what item it is. So if say a jacket is less, it'll be the same with their bags. Its becuase of the strength of the dollar vs. euro and the import taxes to the US.

But the thing is I live in Europe (Sweden to be more precise) And I've always thought the prices here are way higher than in the States since the Euro rates are quite high at the moment. So that's why I was surprised to see that there were actually some things that were cheaper here. And especially surprised that it was Balenciaga since their bags are more expensive here

I think that may be becuase I dont pay VAT tax when it's shipped to the US, that may explain it..

I too am disappointed in Bal's apparent frailty--the corners wear so easily. It seems these price-range bags should hold up a lot better than they do. I have seen some "gently used" versions on ebay that look as though they were beaten with cinder blocks.

That being said, I can't wait to get my hands on a purple!

Can anyone give me the approx price of the messenger le dix? I'm still trying to figure out if it's unisex, women's or men's (not that i care, i just want as much info as possible), so if anyone have any info at all, i would be really happy.

i think it was pretty hard to carry it on the shoulders before, but balenciaga made the straps longer for spring...

The men's version of the weekender has a bit more length to the handles so it would be easier to carry on your shoulder. It doesn't have the mirror and I think it usually comes in only the black, brown & last season, a burgundy. I've not had that style but I know a few ladies here like using that size best.

I think ive got the bag youre talking about. It's supposedly a man's bag, but I think it's unisex. I got it from Selfridges in Manchester for £450 and was stupidly proud of myself for buying the only one in Manchester haha. I was expecting it to be more like £500 and to have to travel to London so im very happy

Lol. That's the problem...I dont have a digital camera at the moment and I dont have anyway of getting photos from my phone to the net....unless I sent it to one of my friends and they put it online....give me a little while ill see if I can do that for you!

Here goes...My friend has very kindly hosted it for me...Beware it isnt the best quality ever and is the wrong way round...

The strap is quite long(you cant tell in the pic) and it has 2 buckles on either side at the bottom which you can see if you look carefully. It has a large pocket inside which you can put wallet and keys in. The pocket on the front is quite big too, but I dont really use it.

Is it the bag you want? I know there are ones which are slightly smaller and are more of a box shape which I think have a flap on the front which closes them? Personally I think mine's better than those ones

The photo is a bit deceptive, it really is quite big. The other messenger style bags are considerably smaller. Ive seen a bigger one in the womens' section before, but it literally was massive lol. Anyway, good luck with your search, when you get one post a pic on here
