In the meantime, I am trying to be patient waiting for a Jaune first. I'm on the notification list at Aloha but so far - nothing Has anyone seen one anywhere? Wonder why it's taking so long for this particular bag to appear?

Hi, I was at Barneys NYC this afternoon... they had a Jaune work, weekender, and I think brief or step (I have trouble telling them apart). Just thought I'd let you know, if anyone's interested...

Don't give up!! Keep checking ebay. I'm sure there is one out there somewhere. We'll all keep our eyes and ears open for you. (Have you considered another style in violet?) Good luck!

Hi ocgirl.... have you called Bal NY? I bought mine directly from Balenciaga in NY and had it in 2 days Also, locally, they have a violet step (^photo above in my previous post) and if I am correct on my memory...I believe one violet city *both with regular hardware* at Saks in Palm Desert (ask for Suzi in handbags).

I called Bal NY and the City is $1195. The Part Time is $1295, so the SA thinks Suzi at Saks may have the two confused. Bal NY has 10 violet Cities.

thanks chauss, i dont know the name of the colour to be honest,i'm not familiar with balenciaga colours,but it's not sky blue i'm sure..its more greenish,like aquamarine,trust me the colour is beautiful in real life,

chauss it just $ucks! My husband and I were in Spain for two weeks and the dollar was in the toilet! $1.44 versus the euro! I was sent on a mission for my friend for the fabulous green patent Manolo Blahnik Quaken...found them in Madrid..but they would cost almost $1500.

ON THE BAL BAG TOPIC.....

^Sorry, I just posted the same answer for you as I bought my violet city with RH at BalNY ($1195) about three weeks ago and my cinnamon city at Saks Plam Desert two weeks ago($1195). Same price, just different coasts!

BTW, My SA at Bal NY is fabulous

ah, cb, i am so sad now... this is the first time in 5 years i wont be in paris for thanksgiving and visit my buddies at bal paris....(they know my voice on the phone...) i bought euros at 80 cents when france first changed over form the franc..... my first bal flat brass first came out to less than $500 after vat............
