It is on MTV USA tonight (Tuesday) at 9pm CET. It usually gets posted to other websites (not MTV.com) on Wednesday. It did used to get posted on youtube.com but they have blocked it . However, the new season is on MTV Europe from 30th May 2010 so we can watch it then, but if you are like me you cannot wait.

That was exactly my point as well. Why sit there and let someone call you a b*tch? If Whitney hadn't said that and Olivia still walked away then I would see the point that she can't take it. I agree about Joe/Erin criticism.

I love Olivia. She has an amazing eye for clothes and accessories. Her job is well deserved as Accessories editor at Elle. If they don't want her there I am sure she would be welcomed at Elle Uk.

As you say Olivia is very smart and wants to preserve her classy, sophisticated image and having a slanging match in public is not classy, it's trashy.

I'm slowly starting to hate this show. I really adore Olivia and I'm sure she's actually really nice and sweet person and I just cannot stand how they are trying to portrait her as the b*tchiest and most evil person. I think Whitney and Roxy are so much worse. I wish Olivia would get her own show and we could she the real Olivia

Olivia wanted to establish name recognition through the show. I would say she's been quite successful since she has acquired legions of fans of her style.


Olivia's "title" is accessories editor. It seems MTV should show her doing more work with accessories.The problem is when they do that she comes across completely competent so rather than portray her as knowledgeable MTV instead chooses to highlight her perceived incompetence by giving her a vast array of tasks unrelated to her fake title. Why is Olivia interviewing people on-camera? Not everyone can conduct television interviews without experience. If her job is with accessories there is no reason for her to be interacting with Whitney who is a clothing designer and does not have accessories.

I'll bet Olivia has more guy friends than girls. She seemed to handle the criticism from Joe well but doesn't tolerate it from Erin or Olivia.

I can't picture her having more guy friends. She just doesn't seem the type.

so in the last episode Whitney with a lovely Phillip Lim trench and Roxy with an amzing DVF dress?!?and when i look at their "candid" style..all i see is a mess?!?
now i got it.. it's not only scripted..it'also styled..at least for those 2! (Olivia's style seems to be pretty much the same, on and off camera!)

I liked the last episode, not much of Olivia's style though, mostly her tops..
At least in this one she's kind of working - pulling jewelry, not just talking and making innocent faces.
But still I can perfectly see that she is not working for Elle for real, it is all just PR. It gets more and more obvious to me every episode.

Wow Erin was so mean girls at the end with her grimacing face and that assistant was so condescending every time he spoke to Olivia. Though I did think the cover choice was great for Elle even though I personally preferred the Armani one.

As for Whitney I'm glad she didn't go with the photographer because that means his free for me

They did a focus group with Elle readers (or that specific demographic) and they preferred the other cover.
