I originally planned to watch this season just purely for the fashion but I tuned in last night and I won't be able to make it through another 10+ episodes. It was mind numbingly terrible. And well I watch a lot of crappy reality tv :ninja: :lol:. I'll just keep an eye out for screencaps in the girls' threads.

I am disappointed though because I loved last season. I did notice however that the new episode was entitled s1e14. I wonder why they are making it a continuation of last season...?
 
I just watched episode 14... Some of the parts were very obviously scripted. I don't mind though, I watch it just for Olivia & her amazing sense of fashion :woot:
 
Are Olivia and Roxy really old high school friends? I thought MTV just hired 2 new girls to be Whitney's friends for The City? I'm terribly confused!!!

Anyway I do love The City more than the hills. Olivia makes it so much more interesting, thank god. It looks like a lot of fun this season.. Funny, I didn't like Erin that much already.. she just seemed so judgmental, but we'll see how that goes!

I agree wholeheartedly with your comment, I get my fashion fix purely from Olivia's thread, never the other girls:shock:. Olivia said in an interview that it was a continuation although it feels like a new season, no idea why it's not.
 
I heard that Whitney and Roxy went to the same high school, what i want to know is; how do Roxy and Stephanie Pratt know each other?

HAHA. She probably could only handle one day, never met Rachel and Taylor fired her for having a smartmouth. Roxy will be very interesting to watch though since Whitney is still a pushover.

My mouth opened into a wide O when Olivia had a tanty at Erin. If this was the "real world" she would have been reprimanded with a formal warning. I know this is "not real" but come on Olivia has an attitude and it's not a good one. Erin actually works for Elle and is doing her job.

It's cool to see Kelly back but I thought both Olivia and Whitney would be working at Elle. Are they going to have any scene's together at all?

I remember that Whitney once said that Spencer went to high school with her (I think they were in the same year). So it would make sense that Roxy, Whitney and Stephanie all would have known each other somehow?
 
^If so, it was Campbell Hall (or anyth similar), Mary kate and Ashley olsen went there too... and currently dakota fanning is studying there

Audrina. Stephanie is now twittering some
nonsense about Roxy betraying her to play

I still can't get over how Ken Olin' daughter, an aspiring actress with so many connections through her parents is on this show. She really needs this to raise her profile?!

Stephanie is such a famewhore - alot like her brother. I can't believe she'd tweet her personal problems like this.

I have a feeling based on the previews that the show will get better as the season moves on...

I already don't care for the character of Roxy... she acts and sounds like She-Pratt on The Hills and one is already enough...

The most intriguing parts are going to be Olivia and Erin working for Elle both seems to be high strong manipulative personalities... and Whitney working on her line. I hope MTV allows some reality because I would like to see her present her line to real vendors and see their reactions...
 
:lol: at Olivia having to go to Canal street. Canal street is the most creepiest place. Ahhhh I miss New York :blush:
 
I wish the next episode was on MTV! I missed it last night... shouldn't it be up by now???

olivia looked so ridiculous while she was looking for copycats at Canal St.
 
I can't stand Erin's character on The City... She just seems so unnatural, and she's always smirking and giving that half-smile half-"I'm evil" look.
 
Whitney and her friends story-line are boring. If it wasn't for Olivia and her outfits I wouldn't bother watching

and not that I want to defend Olivia, but the blonde woman at Elle was just annoying and pretentious at the start. At least when Olivia is like that it's amusing but this girl was plain b*tch. She said something about Olivia not being qualified for the job...then don't give it to her. Is she supposed to be really high up at Elle? Her hair colour was the same colour as her skin and the outfit...I can tell she will irritate me
