Normally I'm on the side of the "nice" girl but Whitney rubs me the wrong way. I get more "snob" from her than nice. I should hate Olivia but I don't. I like her style of bitchyness more than say a Kristin Cavallari. Olivia isn't bitchy in a trashy way with screaming and fighting. She kills her nemesis with silence. Despite all the interviews where her costars have trashed her, Olivia keeps taking the high road. She has yet to bash anyone of them. Even on the show when Erin is bashing her to Joe Zee Olivia just holds her tongue and let's Erin make herself look bad.

She knows how to play the social game well.

Yeah, Olivia is a bit more interesting than Whitney but I don't think a show centered around Olivia would be successful. People who watches this show wants someone to root for ... and it would be hard to be on Olivia's side most of the time. She just appears to be cold... gorgeous but cold and unrelatable.

Whitney and Lauren are very similar with the exception that Lauren was way more emotional... she made you feel 'whatever' she was going thru (fake or not).

I love me some Whitney because she seems so natural, goofy and normal. I want to see her do well

^ That's very interesting now that you mention it... I wonder if there is a contract problem between Bravo and MTV is it? Funny...although with the number of pictures of them in LA, I would doubt there is much 'work' being done anyway....

That was my first thought, but imagine you work somewhere and just because you can't be on the show, you don't go to work at all??? you go only on certain hours? it would be a mess! and even more at people's rev where the atmosphere is super stressful and the quitting or firing of just one person can cause real chaos.

I just realized the trailer for the new season is pretty much a repeat of last season. Erin and Olivia don't get along. Whitney continues to pretend to be a fashion upstart despite MTV buying her way into NY fashion week last year and her family financing her line. I think this will be the show's last season just like the Hills.
