it's affordable and the quality looks pretty good. retailing at $595.

I think the Mulberry bag you posted Diggilooo is a great day bag. Its classic and will never date. Im not sure about how heavy it is though. The regular Chanel 2.55 costs around £870.

I love the Mulberry Bayswater. I would say it's fashioned after the Hermes Birkin, much more so than the Kansas since as everyone pointed out, the Bayswater much older than the Kansas.

I had the good fortune to see the Bayswater personally this weekend and it's even more lovely in person. Especially in certain colours. It's not heavy at all. Very practical bag. I've been dreaming of it since.

Mulberry Bayswater is pretty nice. It's very classic and basic. There are tones of bags out there inspired by the Birkin/Kelly theme, like chloe paddington, lanvin kansas, and bayswater, etc....it's all about copying what's popular and adding their own spin on it so people who can't afford or wait for the real thing can look for cheaper/more easily obtained alternatives that don't look exactly like "inspired" bags
