The Etc Etc of Perfumes & Fragrances

Okay the new Michael Kors perfume-Very Hollywood-is horrid. It's a great scent, but with absolutely zero lasting power. I spritzed some on two hours ago on my wrist and an hour later, it was gone. Kaput.

^oh, that's bad. Everytime when I see the ad, I want to try it. I don't know, some reason all perfumes which I have tried lately are so boring. I wanna something special and everything smells like just some other. On the other hand, I have found many flower which I really don't wanna smell. So maybe I'll be picker, which is good, I guess.

I mean, who knows, I may have spritzed wrong, but I certainly hope it's not replacing the Island series...I love my Island Bermuda.

So what do you guys think of D&G "neither male or female specific" line? I can't decide if I like them. . .too many to try at one time.
Also, thoughts on Marc Jacobs Lolia? I bought Miss Dior for the bottle, ended up hating the scent (too sweet). I don't want to fall into that trap again. . .

has anyone bought from fragrance.net? raves/rants? I bought Obsession Night for women there, but I'd never smelled it before (bought it cos I loved the mens version on my bf), so I dont know what its supposed to smell like. It LOOKS real, and smells real. I'd like to buy some Gucci Rush 2 and Givenchy Hot Coutoure there, but just want some more opinions before I shop. Thoughts?

I have same problem then.. some bottles are way better looking than perfume. I actually would like to have other Miss Dior Cherie bottle, I have taller version.. love this. Or maybe I just should buy some other version, I don't like original much.

I didn't like Lolita.. it reminded me little bit Flowerbomb (which is not good thing, for me.. I hated that. Other hand, I loved the bottle of Flowerbomb but not Lolita's. I would like to love it, Daisy was adorable. I bought it mini version and big bottle.. it was irresistible

Christian Lacroix Absynthe For Him

Had a sniff at both the men's and the women's Absynthe in Mum's Avon catalogue (just scented pages, not actual samples) and quite like them both. I prefer the men's one - it's like being in a forest after it has rained. Woody, herby, green sort of scent

I just bought Le Labo Labdanum 18 and although I love it, it is a tad sweeter than I can remember it, can anyone recommend a dark woody scent I could perhaps mix it with?

I am currently wearing various scents from the CLEAN line. Their amazing, right now Warm Cotton in my favourite.

I have tested new perfumes lately and been kind of disappointed. I guess I have read too much from ads, for example V&R Eau Mega didn't smell how it supposed.. come on, ad is full of gold and something huge. And it was very lame, little pear juice. Ok, I know I should read description but why even do those ads.. they always make my wanna try and expect too much.

Does anyone think that there is big simalarity in the scents of Flowerbomb by V&R and Black XS by Paco Rabanne?

THere will be a new Hermes mens perfume for next year, but I don't know the name... Anyone heared yet?

Can anyone recomend scents in the type of "Hypnose" by Lancome, Armani code, flowerbomb by V&R etc ?
