The Etc Etc of Perfumes & Fragrances

Theye are all oneshot for europe, only Rain you can order again..

That's what I thought but I still refuse to give up hope! I need another bottle!

When will celebs, and not so famous celebs stop 'making' their own perfume. It's getting boring

Those 2 above are fairly famous celebs, especially Beyonce.

Personally, I own 3 of Sarah Jessica Parkers fragrances because I believe she genuienly makes good ones, I also own Hilary Duffs because it's a nice light summer one.

But people like Avil Lavigne missed the boat by about 5 years - her perfume is not that interesting but if she'd released it when she was more famous the it would have sold - I probably would have bought it aged 15.

I got Thierry Mugler A*Men (Metal Version) for Christmas, I think that it is one of the most unusual male fragrances. The first impression is a bit ugly but after about 10 minutes the scent is very luxurious and nice - but still very significant ^_^ And what is interesting for me - i don´t smell a lot of differences between Angel and A*Men:innocent: Does anyone has Pure Coffee version? How does it smell? :flower:

I've got it, and its a little the same like A*Men, but then more like a dark coffee you are smelling.... It's heavy, but great, get a lot of compliments with it!

Santa got me a set of YSL Elle - eau de perfum, shower gel and body lotion. I really love it, though my other half calls it 'very strong, but nice'

My bottle of Escale à Portofino just arrived and I hate it. It smells like a cleaning product mixed with powder and a citric scent. I'm so disappointed. :(

Has anyone tried Balenciaga Paris yet? I'm dying to know what it smells like.
Is it a noteable smell, as in, is it distinguishable?

Kate Moss - Wild Meadow

nd.8071.jpg

Kate Moss is presenting a new fragrance Kate Moss Wild Meadow, as a limited edition for the upcoming spring and summer, in cooperation with Coty. Harmonic composition of the new edition introduces warm and cheerful nuances lit with spring rays of sun.

Wild Meadow is a white floral fragrance surrounded with green leaves full of freshness. The fragrance reflects dawn in Cotswords, central England, landscape which has a special place in Kate Moss' heart. Subtle nuances of wild meadow leave an impression of carelessness, relaxation, silence, tranquility, harmony. Top notes start with luminous freshness of pink grapefruit and bergamot refreshed with fruity notes of vineyard peach. A heart is floral and harmonic, created with an intention not to accentuate any particular flower, but to make all floral ingredients sound like a bouquet picked from a fragrant meadow. Aromas of rose, magnolia and honeysuckle line up and finish with a base of apple wood, benzoin and amber.

Flacon is elegant and made of glass, available as 30ml EDT. Its cap is also made of glass. Perfume liquid is coloured in light green, which symbolizes freshness of nature and birth of spring. Black rose is Kate Moss' trademark and it can be found on the flacon together with pink roses. Outer carton is white, which suggests peace and purity of English landscapes in early morning hours. The package was designed by Lutz Herrmann and Logique Design, while advertising photos are a work of Craig McDean. Wild Meadow is a new fragrance and it was introduced in 2010.

I hate Portofino too.
Have you tried Escale a Pondichery? :flower:

^Really? You got me interested now. I'll try it out some time, thanks for the suggestion. :flower:

I got Armani Code for my birthday. I love it, but it's not long lasting at all. I think it disappears very soon. I used Code body lotion as well, but I don't think it lasts any longer. Nevertheless, I think the perfume is amazing and so me! My bf loves it too.:D

I also ordered Covet from SJP, mostly because it was a real bargain-100ml for £9.75.:woot:
