Miss Dior Cherie Eau De Toilette 2010
A new olfactive interpretation of Miss Dior Cherie is arriving on the market in March 2010. This fresh and elegant floral-chypre successor aims at younger women who enjoy freedom and independence.
Transparent notes of freesia and lily of the valley start this spring, feminine composition which lines up accords of jasmine, orange blossom and tuberose. Top notes of Miss Dior Cherie Eau de Toilette 2010 are enriched with pleasant and almost fruity accents which lead us into a heart with charming popcorns, followed with pralines and vanilla.
A base is certainly leaving a clear chypre effect and a dose of elegance with patchouli accords. The fragrance is available as 50 and 100 ml EDT, shaped just like Miss Dior Cherie EdP edition from 2005. Liquid of the new EDT version is gentle pink. Tim Walker`s advertising campaign features a spring garden with roses in bloom. The nose behind this fragrance is Francios Demachy.

I still don't get all those variations of Miss Dior Cherie. I bet that when I bought my EdP, I tested EdT because it smelled so different on home than in my hands... Then years later I tried that Primptens version, which I didn't like. Last year I bought l'eau which I love and which smells anything like my old Miss Dior Cherie. And now yesterday I tried some Miss Dior Cherie which I didn't like either. That new one. But glad that they like name, I just never know which one they are adversising. New campaing #542 is amazing though.
I also love Cherie bottles.

Parisienne Eau de Toilette maintains floral, timeless and feminine character. Top notes are surprisingly modern with vinyl reminding of lacquer, stilettos and high heels. Besides vinyl, top notes include aldehyde and gentle rose scent. Heart notes are composed of Damascus roses, lily of the valley and violet leaves. Musk and suede in the base leave a smooth and sensual trace, while iris assures a sophisticated powdery effect.
The fragrance comes in a pink bottle with a golden cap which is slimmer than Parisienne EDP. Parisienne Eau de Toilette is available in bottles of 50 and 90ml. The face of this edition is Kate Moss.

Top notes of Pure Brilliance offer fruity aromas of pear and apple, accompanied by green leaves and freesia. A heart encompasses honeysuckle and lily of the valley on a base of blond wood. This warm and optimistic fragrance “is about the radiance and beauty at the heart of every woman” - as Celine Dion describes it. She also mentiones that “It’s the energy within that makes every woman unique.”
Its flacon was inspired by jewelry – gems and cut (emerald-shape). Body of the flacon is airy, while its stopper has amethyst colour with a gold neck. I have it (the EdT, not EdP). Somehow thought it would be different, it has a strong aldehyde top note, similar to Nr.5, but not as pronounced, the few Les Exclusifs I posses all have something similar. But that dissipates quickly and on my skin there is a mix of leather and lots of sweet, oriental stuff: jasmine, rose, ylang-ylang and so on. After ~10-12 hours all thats left is that leather and it sort of smells like old wallets and suitcases very close to skin. It's quite interesting.

Bois the Iles is my favorite from Chanel, but I want to try Sycomore and maybe Eau de Cologne. The middle-base notes in Bois de Iles linger very close to skin and that mix of sanalwood and vanilla or whatever that is, has become sort of addictive to me. I end up smelling my wrist all the time.
I think the scent is very sexy and a bit intoxicating, but in a very sophisticated way.
