Anyone tried Veet? I want to use that until I have saved up enough for laser hair removal.

thanks for the answers. When did this start? Who got it in their heads that women ought to do this?

I've tried veet on my legs. It remved the hair in patches and irritated the skin

I dislike veet intensely. It just smells bad, hurts my skin and doesnt DO anything.

those of you who shave do you use shaving cream? or soap? or just water? or do you do it dry? .

Definatly never shave dry anywhere except maybe under your arms. I just use soap and water :)

I also shaved dry, it's not that bad, I really think it's easier..you see exactly what you are cutting :p , especially in the very back area..
But usually trimming does a great job, but you must have a good quality machine to do it right.

I like my man to be trimmed and hairless; guys, don't forget, it looks bigger without the hairs around :D !

My mom shaves down there with just baby powder. That way you don't get razor bumps.

Brazilian bikini wax for me.

Once you learn how do it yourself, nothing can get in your way!

Do all salons who do waxing on other parts of your body also do waxing in this area? How do you know which ones do? Because I'm kinda embarrassed to ask for some reason...

Probably the same people who thought women should shave anywhere else. And whoever it was, I like them.

I just find it ridiculous that women are expected to be completely hairless, slim, have perfect skin, hair and bodies while most men are completely content with themselves. It's really unfair, and I understand we have a choice as to how far we "groom" ourselves, but does anyone else see something wrong with this picture?

I have a question about your skin and your hair 'down there'. Due to ingrown hairs because of the shaving, I now have a bit of scarring around the sides. i try to cover it by letting my hair grow in, but all that does is give me a bigger bush. Is there any lotions that I could rub on the sides to perhaps heal the scarring? thanks a lot.

It does hurt....really bad.

It's all a matter of your threshold of pain, I don't find it to be painful at all and I do the extensive bikini wax thing all the time...

is it easy to do the brazilian yourself?.. any suggestions, instructions? i usually get it done at the salon but figured it wouldn't be too bad to learn. thanks in advance!
