i always thought lady garden sounded funny but maybe i just made that one up:lol:

anyways today i was being cheap and decided to wax it myself pfft that was a stupid idea i now have half and half since i did one side then couldnt bare to go on:lol:

next time im going professional you can save money in some ways but not others:rolleyes:

I used to wax, but decided to get it surgically removed, a la laser hair removal. i went through 12 sessions, but it still grows back....very thin and sparse tho..
as for the pain....its bearable, feels like hot needles stabbing you really fast. I wondering if tattooing would hut more?
 
the pain u describe sounds a bit like the pain of tattooing but then again i didnt find that painful really
 
I've always used a razor ( although I know ur not supposed to)..but lately I don't like the prickly growth afterwards. Tried waxing it at home once...WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

My friend says she uses an epilator?? ( i think that's what you call it). Anyone tried that? Is it any good? Does it hurt?
 
^ yeah....i use an epilator...i'll be honest, the first few times are pretty painful....not unbearable, but not pleasant....after that, the hair and skin around the area seem to get used to it...as long as the hair hasn't grown too long, it seems to be ok....i just make sure the skin is taut and suck it up!!!...:lol:
 
just thought i should add that i only epilate along the bikini line and i guess slightly closer in....i don't do the entire area....i think that would be impossibly painful....:innocent:

I understand that, I just don't know why someone not cutting/shaving their pubes would be shocking/surprising :p

I'd be more surprised if someone dyed their pubic hair a la Agyness Deyn :rofl:

well if that's the case, I wouldn't. Some people's skin can handle shaving in such a sensitive area, the majority can't which is why it's ineffective, it hurts and you get red bumps/in grown hairs. If you absolutely must shave, then the biggest tip I can give is to use a fresh razor so that the blade isn't dull and make sure you've been in the shower/bath for at least 5 - 10 minutes so you've given the hair follicles time to soften up.

Well what would be another good alternative anyone ??? Please I had always thought waxing would KILL. but i have't even shaved my legs (they're blonde thoygh) So have you got any good idea if your quite sensitive. thanks.
