please help. can someone explain mou, supple and rigid? i thought i understood supple v. rigid, more or less. but what is mou? are all three available in any leather, or are they actually leather-specific? sorry of the onslaught of questions. looking forward to clarification
This is how my SA explained it to me, if any one else thinks the info is incorrect, please let us know

........She said that the terms souple and rigide are reserved for kellys. It has to do with the construction technique (the way it's stitched) and makes the bag firm and boxy (rigide) or soft and casual (souple). She used the term mou which means soft for bags like the bolide, and it has to do with the characteristics of the leather. For example a clemence bolide would be mou while a chevre bolide would be more structured even though they are sewn the same way.
I hope that's correct
I saw some beautiful bags the other day, a fjord bolide in sapphire (what an amazing blue

) and a kelly pouchette in matte black croc with palladium

. Still thinking about that one but I best stay away from thoughts like that

!! They also had two chevre 28 kellys, one in raisin and the other in cyclamen. It was like a candy store in there!!
