It's official. Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port have been fired from Teen Vogue.
The magazine decided it no longer wanted to be associated with the TV show because it didn't approve of the girls' behavior as depicted on the program, and now the ladies are out of fake jobs.
PerezHilton.com told you about this a month ago, four weeks to be precise, in this post from December 11th.

Well, in recent interviews Whitney said that she wasn't sure if she still wanted to work there anymore and mentioned wanting to be a stylist. Maybe she saw this coming and was doing damage control?

The Hills is starting to be shown on Channel 4 in the U.K., and before each episode over there they air this disclaimer:
'The following programme may contain scenes that have been created purely for entertainment purposes."
They're not even trying to hide it!
Why can't they be this honest in America????

They do this with most American reality tv shows over here. It puts a dampener on the show though, I like to believe it's real. Not be told beforehand that most of it is fake, couldn't they wait until the end at least!

This show is so fake, yet I still watch it all the time ! I bet secretly Heidi and Lauren are still friends. This show is always the same someone hooks up then breaks up or Lauren gets jealous about something. Basically, high school drama set in Hollywood wit twenty something year-olds. Gosh I have such a love/hate relationship with this show!

I was wondering how they managed to get the paps out of frame all the time as well...I guess if a pap screws up the scene the just do it again.

when i was shopping in Madison the same time as Lo and Lauren and they were filming...it was kind of like a movie set regarding paps.
There was this big huge white van parked right outside Madison with all the production and crew people for the hills, and the paparazzi waited until they were done filming, took like 5 pictures and chatted and then the girls drove away.

It wasn't like a mad rush to get their picture...because they weren't in a hurry to 'escape' or anything...

Lauren Conrad visits her new $2.5 million Hollywood home with her mom, Kathy, and a team of designers on Monday.
The Hills star’s mini-mansion measures 3,009 square feet and has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. Pictures of interior here.
Current roommate (and BFF) Audrina Patridge has said that she will still be living with Lauren.
“We’re still living together,” Audrina said. “I’m so excited. The house is beautiful!”
Living in the third bedroom will be Lauren Bosworth, aka Lo. It’s going to be a slumber party every night in that house!
