It must be frustrating for Lauren to have achieved so much success in her own right only to have Kristin once again try to capitalize on a tired rivalry by coming onto into Lauren's hit show.

MTV is nuts to think they can "replace" Lauren who is the heart and soul of the show. People literally grew up with her the past 5 years. You can't just drop someone else in her shoes and expect the audience to have that same attachment.

I'm in total agreement. It doesn't even look like Lauren is going to get a proper goodbye from the show that SHE has made into one of the most successful on MTV.

Yeah, Kristin has done nothing with the past 4-5 years except some of the worst straight to DVD movies ever and staging stupid pap pics on a weekly basis. Whereas, Lauren has worked hard to built her brand...

she is a lot more interesting than LC as far as drama goes..LC's life just seems too boring for TV nowadays..which is good for her..

Lauren has a much more interesting life than Kristin at this time. Kristin is coming to the show to 'party, drink and hookup with random men'... how is that interesting? We haven't seen Lauren's real life on the show in a longtime... since they do not film her working on her lines or with her real life fugly bf...

If Lauren had a show that revolved around her real life, it would be more like the Rachel Zoe show... and it would interesting. Though, I don't think Lauren needs to do anymore reality tv. If she wants to be on tv, she should take some acting lessons (she already has a decent foundation) or try hosting a show, etc...
 
I actually think the most interesting parts of the Hills are when they go to People's revolution and we get to see Lauren at work. I have far less interest in Speidi's numerous fake engagements or Audrina fighting with Justin Bobby for the umpteenth time.

If I want to see people get drunk and hook up I watch the Real World/Road Rules challenge or something.
 
Did everyone see the preview for the final? It's an hour long final - YAY.

OMG talk about over the top. The way that Kristen chick walks into the wedding and the reaction of Lauren's face just screamed DRAMA.

Hedi's mom and sis are "still fighting" with Spencer. Get over it. He's never going to change.

i cant wait..im totally craving some JustinBobby and i see that kristin ends up taking a seat next to him at the wedding! I heard that they are supposed to be "something" next season..
 
I just saw the "whats next on the season finale" and it looks goood.
Kirstin,head held high struts down the isle while everyone is seated and smiles widley and waves at Lauren.
Her reaction says it all.:lol:

Kristin is MTV's rebound girl,there's nothing to be proud of.If she truly think that making this show will give her the star stardom she never had.Well,she's fooling herself lol
 
Haha, Lauren has always said she's an awful actress, but the more I watch this season, the more I think she's better than her fellow castmates and half the girls on the CW.
 
I love Laurens facial expressions! priceless entertainment you can always tell what she's thinking.

Clearly the US are ahead of the uk plot wise, cant wait to go there and catch up on it soon!

A new feud has emerged on The Hills: Audrina Patridge vs. Kristin Cavallari.

"I don't like her," Patridge confessed Thursday on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show.

She confirmed the two had a fight the first day of filming bonus episodes of the MTV show (it has been rumored that Cavallari has been pursuing Patridge's ex, Justin Bobby).

Patridge was mum on what went down, but told Seacrest, "When someone gets in my face, I have to defend myself. And, you guys, I mean, I can't say much. They'll show it, but I mean, all I have to say is, it's really pathetic and desperate what people will do when the cameras are around."

"It was my birthday, and I was like, Oh, my God. Is this what we're going to have to deal with?'" she added.

Patridge wouldn't open up about her recent fling with Star Trek hottie Chris Pine.

Us Weekly reported that the two met at ShoWest in Las Vegas in early April. On May 15, she was spotted leaving his L.A. apartment building.

"There's always speculation of anyone I hang out with or anything I do," a coy Patridge told Seacrest.

Pressed for more, she replied, "My lips are sealed."

Still, she said, "From Justin Bobby, I think any guy is an upgrade. I mean, I've learned so much since that relationship."

It looks like Audrina Patridge is not the only person who’s not too fond of Kristin Cavallari. Stephanie Pratt was always a little leery at the prospect of Kristin coming to The Hills. Now, it looks like Stephanie’s fears have come to fruition.

Stephanie explains:

“I think with Kristin coming on the show it’s just going to be a lot of partying and drama. Audrina and I are a little scared to be honest. I was at a pool party with them Friday and something happened at the pool party between us. I’m still a little confused on why i was attacked. And if I’m like the person that she’s decided to like, have the huge fight with all season, I don’t think I can emotionally handle that. MTV better pay for a therapist. I really miss Lauren.”

How ironic that Stephanie made her entrance onto The Hills by screaming in Lauren and Audrina’s face about them being mean to Heidi, who at that time was “like family” to her. She went from bad girl to scaredy cat. She’s been running around telling everyone she’s the most sensitive on the show, and now is admitting to being scared of K. Cav’s arrival.

Anyway, get ready for yet another catfight.

I am a little late. First of all, I had no idea the new season had begun, so imagine my shock when I notice Audrina making "googly eyes" over Brody. What in the world? Aren't she and Lauren friends this season? LOL. Why would she want Brody, the same guy that was so in love with Lauren? I am pretty sure Lauren and Brody had sex; they were in a relationship for a couple of months, no? This show has become so confusing. I have to catch up.
 
I love the Hills, and the majority of people I have spoken to think it's going to go down hill when LC leaves and Kristen takes her place, but I think it's going to be a whole lot more entertaining. Drama, drama, drama.
 
^ Yeah but fake drama.At least without Kristin the drama looked a bit real.I'm not sure that it will be same when she'll take over Lauren.

Anyway,don't forget that the BIG dramatic finale is tonight before the Movie Awards.
