The Hills

I was really shocked by what Elodie did to Heidi and still cannot figure out if I think it was funny or evil. I kept wondering how Heidi didn't hear the news about Elodie giving her notice. I mean, as a senior person, don't you think Heidi would have been informed? Also, the phone conversation with her co-worker that Heidi had at dinner was weird. At first, the co-worker sounded all shocked that Elodie wasn't there, and then she told Heidi that Elodie quit. Weird editing, IMO.

Is the show on next week? It was really weird that the clips were not just for next week but for the remainder of the season.

BTW, I was reading the US Weekly with Heidi on the cover last night, and Heidi said that she won't do another season of the show! Yay!!!!!!!!!!

^ Yeah. It all seemed a little stage and the editing was weird when Heidi was asking Elodie, but Spencer's reaction was vile. Like "Sleeping with the Enemy" psychological abuse.

^ Yeah, that is the problem with The Hills being on so close to when I go to bed at night. All of those horrifying images of Spencer sneak their way into my nightmares!

^

When they showed the previews, they showed clips of Lauren and Heidi confronting each other again. I thought I had heard along the way that the thing at the restaurant was the last place they were going to be together this season. I kind of want Lauren and Heidi to be friends again but ONLY if Spencer is dumped.

I know, I read in Seventeen that the only place they were on film together was in the first eppy and then at Ketchup. Now they actually have a sit down talk!? This show is addiciting. :ninja:

^ It is soooo addictive! I don't want Lauren to be friends with Jen again...or Heidi! I like them separate. It seems like things aren't all perfect for Heidi and Spencer, but in recent interviews and stuff, they claim to be head over heels. I also want to know how Brody is 100% certain that Spencer started the sex tape rumors. I guess Jason is out for the season now?

Yes, it was in Seventeen, that's it! I wonder how close to air this show is filmed. Maybe it was true then, but like the day after the interview, the talk happened?

I want to know that too. Or how Heidi is SO convinced it was Brody?

I feel like the show used to be filmed way in advance, but now that the stars are so well-known and always out in public, they film closer to the airdates than ever before.

I heard there is 16 episodes this season. I would love 24! I think this is the most addictive and easy to follow Reality Show made by MTV, as far as giving more insight and depth to the characters, but that's just my opinion. So I am all for more episodes! :D

^ I know, it makes the show just that much more interesting cause it isn't even really 'planned' yet as to what will air. I heard they are filming through November. :flower:

^^Oh wow, you're right. I totally didn't get that connection. Just like a few weeks ago!

Spencer just gets worse and worse with each passing week and Heidi more idiotic.

About JustinBobby... I think he was being a jerk. I don't think LC is really being overbearing. It'd be one thing if he just didn't like her but it's another to go on a trip with people and then act like they don't exist. I feel bad for Audrina though but he definitely could say hello to her friends, at the very least. Or make eye contact with them. :p

The sex tape thing... only from watching the previews from next week. I do't know who to believe. I like Brody and want to believe him but there's something about him, he seems like a liar to me.

So the previews were for the whole rest of the season and not just next week?

And Heidi won't do another season? Maybe she's already gotten enough fame and doesn't need to embarass herself on the Hills anymore?

I agree, I thought JustinBobby was beyond rude. He was intentionally trying to alienate Audrina from her friends. And as the previews seem to elude to, he still keeps it up even when Lauren is trying to be the peacemaker. Another psychotic boyfriend. They try to alienate you from all your friends and family so all you have left is them...That is not healthy.

The preview at the end of this episode has me really excited... Lots of drama coming up! :woot:

I found this interesting and I know that a few people in this thread have asked what Spencer really does for a living.
  • Pratt “coproduced” Jenner’s short-lived reality series, Princes of Malibu, which chronicled the Jenner brothers’ pampered existence under the rule of their stepfather, shmaltz-rock producer David Foster—yes, the man who brought America Josh Groban and Michael Bublé is somehow involved in this mess.
  • Spencer’s management company, Innovator Management, has about four clients, though it’s tough to tell as most of Pratt’s “companies” have MySpace pages without any other Web presence. The clients are, not surprisingly, Brody, Heidi (who is cutting an album soon under Spencer’s tutelage), David Foster, and The Princes of Malibu (DVD).
  • Spencer is VP of Archangel L.A., a company which appears to make silver jewelry that retails at two stores in Los Angeles. The goods are not yet available for purchase (or really even to look at) online.
  • He also has his hands in the music industry, working on 143 Records (David Foster’s label for Atlantic, natch), and the nebulous Precise Music Group, which has one artist, YaBoy, a rapper big on the L.A. underground mix tape scene.
  • Spencer and Brody are both “VPs of 310 Creative,” a company that animates Web graphics and designs celebrity websites. Among their clients: Nicole Richie, David Foster, Ya Boy, and the band Korn.

^ I am shocked that Spencer has so many jobs. He has never been shown working on the show. I am also willing to bet that he comes from a very wealthy family.

They all sound like BS jobs though. Like people who say they are "investors". :p

I read his dad was a dentist and his mom was a housewife, so I don't think his family is wealthy.

Considering that he went to HS with the Olsen twins and that his dad (William "Skip" Pratt) pretty much pioneered the term celebrity dentist , I'd bet he is pretty wealthy.
