The Hills

^ yeah Spencer's dad is supposedly famous among celebrities (when it comes to their teeth) I think I read it in Us.

I don't really like the whole Lauren Audrina team ! I think Audrina is fine but that's it!
As for Justin it's rude not to say ho when somebody says hi I mean if he doesn't like the girls then why did he come it's not like he is Brody's best friend.
I'd like to see lauren and heidi be friends again. In season 1 she was nice and fun and cute. it's a shame she met spencer!!!!

^ I can't wait until my issues comes in the mail! Of course, US Weekly sends me my subscriptions so darn late. Yesterday, I received last week's issue AND the issue for the week before! Anyway, I think Whitney looks the best. :)

^^Yeah Whitney looks great there!

I find it so funny that Us Weekly puts Heidi on the cover one week and these 3 the next. It's like the 3 girls telling Heidi that they can get the cover too. :D

Me too, I'm excited!!! :p

My Us Weeklys are either wayyyy early or wayyyyyy wayyy late. Go figure?? :o

^ Same here and they are always late on the weeks when I cannot for the issue!

What do you all think of Whitney's job at Teen Vogue? I love Whitney, but she does not act like Lauren's boss. I would personally be annoyed if someone who worked for me came into the office all the time saying that they were hungover and then were texting people and gossiping while they were at work. I wonder how much it bothers Whitney. She is too nice to say anything. I feel like Whitney will need to toughen up a little bit more, which I am sure she will once she gets more experience.

^ I agree. but I also think it's tough to be bossy to a friend and she probably feels bad to have gotten the promotion over Lauren. They both started at the same time, didn't they? I'm still unsure of why Whitney got it and Lauren didn't even get to interview for the position? Was it because of Paris?

i think Whitney doesnt want to have a bad work environment with Lauren there because they're friends, and Whitney doesnt seem like a bossy person anyway..

I think I remember hearing that Whitney had started quite a while before Lauren. Like when Whitney was telling Lauren about the position she said something like "I think I deserve it. I mean I've been here for like (some number) of years" and Lauren said "Wow, you've been here that long? That's long!" I don't know why I remember this stuff and not useful things, but this is what I remember.

^ you're right, I think I remember Whitney/Lauren having that conversation, but what I don't get is why was Whitney interviewing for an interning position there the same day Lauren was?

I think I need to re-watch the first season.

If I remember correctly, she said she had been in intern for 5 years: 2 @ W Magazine and the past 3 @ Teen Vogue.

Whitney interned 3 summers at another magazine prior to Teen Vogue not several years.

Whitney had just graduated college. Lauren is still a student and therefore really only qualified to be an intern.

The gossip can't bother Whitney too much since she's the one who alway initiates the conversations about Lauren's personal life by asking Lauren what she did last night , what's going on and saying things like "tell me everything about the date." Also Lauren usually is the one who asks Whitney to give her something to do and does her job without complaint so her work ethic is not lacking in any way.

Sometimes I feel like I am watching a different show. Lauren says nothing to Audrina about Justin Bobby for like the past three weeks and even allows Audrina to drag him on their Vegas trip yet somehow she is "meddling". Whitney asks Lauren for details about her personal life in every episode yet Lauren is percieved as being a gossip at work. Lauren pretty much begs Whitney to tell her what to do yet her work ethic is percieved as lacking. IMO Lauren is a much better intern than Whitney is a boss.

shop7th: I thought thats what Elodie said to Heidi

Heidi and Elodie had that conversation and Heidi was surprised that Elodie "just started before her" Haha yeah right.

And Lauren and Whitney had the conversation and Lauren was surprised that Whitney had been interning so long.
