Please don't beat me with a stick of anything because I am really rooting for a Jason and Lauren reunion. There were so many scenes with the two of them together in the "coming up this season" (Its probably going to be all one episode though). I don't know why but I really like them as a couple. I can see her having a real calming effect on him.
As for this premiere, it was amazing. I loved the one hour thing and think they should do it the entire SEASON!
Great opening, I hope they keep it up and I hope that somewhere along the lines Spencer gets struck by a bus!

lo was HILARIOUS with the justin/bobby thing...haha...i hope we see more of her this season. and as much as i really do like lauren, i can finally see how she does get into people's relationships. i know that she's just trying to be a good friend...but i also think she's quick to judge --and personally, from an outsider's perspective, the relationship she had with jason was complete crap...

^I love Lo too...she was so funny and from the way she was talking she really seemed to be more together than Audrina and Lauren when it came to guys....and am i crazy or is Lo wearing an engagement ring? You can def see it when she's talking to Lauren on the couch

I'm happy to see Lo again too. She's the only one on the show who says exactly what I thinking.
So I guess Audrina's replaced Heidi as "the best friend". Does she wear a full face of makeup 24/7? I don't think I've ever seen her with anything less than an inch of makeup even when it seems like she just woke up. That guy she likes seems like a loser as well, the only thing he seems to really care about is his strategically messy hair.
For once I really believed that Heidi didn't know what lauren was talking about. Lauren seems so dramatic sometimes. It's wrong for her to accuse Heidi of being brainwashed considering Jason's background and her constant affection for him (not to mention giving up Paris).

I loved Lauren when she was with the guy from London! 
And that confrontation with Heidi was gold. "You know what you did!" You bet your behind she does!
Audrina is a way better BF than Heidi ever was. "I'll always have her back. No matter what". Let's hope JustinBobby won't turn into a Spencer clone.
Heidi IS totally brainwashed by Spencer and they're so behind the sextape rumor. It's such a Spencer thing to do. Create drama and stir up some trouble just to get his Beavis mug on tv.
And who's Spencer kidding with that ring? He didn't even bother to check her ringsize. He acts like he just bought the Taylor-Burton diamond at cartier and not some tacky knockoff for $29.99

My boyfriend didn't want to watch it (he says he loses brain cells by watching it), but my friend TiVo'ed it and I am going over tomorrow to watch. I feel way to old to love this stuff, but I do. Guilty pleasure. Did they show much Whitney? I adore her.

Love Lauren but she really needs to be more reserved when it comes to commentary on other people's relationships since it never turns out right! Though Audrina's new boy does seem incredibly sketchy/lame/not very otherwise attractive. And Heidi! Poor girl seems genuinely upset by the lack of Lauren in her life...but what then of the sex tape rumors and the lack of communication between them? Surely she had heard these rumors and never bothered to even contact her "best friend" throughout the entire ordeal? Sketchy, so I bet she had something to do with it.

I'm leaning towards the latter. I think that she really does think he's a good person. He might even be one of those guys who is only nice to his girlfriend. I don't know know, but I was actually surprised at how emotional she got when he proposed.

I missed the premiere last night and I'm so upset. Heidi and Spencer got engaged? Bahahahaha ...they better have a replay of that episode on mtv. I plan on renting season 2 of The Hills on the way home from work today (even though I've already seen all the episodes)

The shows definitely lived up to the hype.
First episode: I'm glad that Whitney got the job. She seemed to be the one who wanted to be more than just an intern so Congrats to her. The confrontation: I have a feeling that if/when the Hill's does another countdown of big moments this will be close to the top. Lauren wasn't up for any b.s. Heidi can act dumb (is it an act?) all she wants but I'm sure she knew exactly why Lauren was mad...later on down the road as the preview shows she will also make mention of the supposed sex tape. Mmm Hmm...
Second Episode: Audrina seems so sweet but I can't help but detect shades of naivety. I think her man friend is cute but um he's seems to be too nonchalant for my personal taste. I'm not sure about the Justin Bobby situation but hey do you Boo-Boo is my only advice. He didn't seem to be taken by the bubbly giggly Lo & Lauren which actually is a good thing (though I like both) since it means he will perhaps be himself as oppose to faking it for the cameras. If I was Heidi (*wipes forehead vigorously*) I would have been ticked to see what looks to be the main wall of my home graffiti(ed) up with some silly Hollywood tag- then again capturing that main Hollywood attention seems to be their main goal so its actually fitting (obvious & tacky). Speaking of Heidi & Spencer...

I loved when Lauren said to Whitney at Les Deux about the British guy "Tell me if he's cute cause I'm drunk" an Whitney looks him in the face and says "No". 
Lauren was a little obnoxious at Les Deux saying stuff like "He's leaving tomorrow", "Jackpot". I mean yeah that's cool but saying it kinda makes her seem like a floosy. But she was really drunk so I'll let it slide.
What if Heidi really didn't start that rumor? She might have and it's a 50/50 for me, but if she didn't I feel really bad for her. I bet it was Spencer and not her.

Lauren glowed on the Hills last night. I mean ,she outshined Heidi so much it's not even funny. Heidi to me actually looked pale,terrible skin and her hair looked dry and awful . I really think Spencer has taken a toll on her looks.
