What I don't get it this- are Spencer's parents living under a rock? Make that a massive boulder! I mean, they are all over the tv and the magazines. You think that even if his parents don't watch Entertainment Tonight or MTV or read US Weekly that someone in their town, neighborhood, family, or something would tell them that their son got engaged! It makes ZERO sense.

really, everytime he tells Heidi he'll "get around" to telling them "eventually" it's like, telling them what exactly? do they not watch their own son's show or see the tabloids?
