The Hills

^^I just don't know where Lo's attitude comes from. I get your point but honestly, she was so unnecessarily mean and snobby at that party. Even when she went to go talk to Audrina to hash things out, she was still giving her attitude! I mean she never lets up...the cameras don't lie IMO, if Lo was a sweet person it would come through on TV. And it's just not happening, Lauren has her moments of being annoying but she's still likable at the end of the day.

^ I get where you're coming from too, but I think it would be difficult to play nice to someone when they're going to the tabs and making passive aggressive comments about you and your best friend and making herself look like the victim in the situation.

Lauren and Lo never gave quotes to US about how Audrina could be a b*tch and would avoid them and didn't really make an effort to spend time with her. Lo seems like the kind of girl that doesn't take crap from people, and isn't good at being fake. The producers won't awknowedge that "celeb" side to them, so even if Lo mentioned that she didn't appreciate Audrina going to the tabs and making her look like the person that drove Lauren and her apart, they'd cut that part.

Also, we all know that pretty soon they all (Audrina, Lauren, Lo) became cool again and put the past behind them. Lo and Audrina were seen filming/shopping, and Audrina even went to Lo's graduation dinner with all the girls.

Lo probably figured out at some point during the season it was better to just cave in when it comes to Adurina. I think she definitely is upset about the villain label and even if Audrina is playing everyone, she hides it well enough for the general public to take her side. I think Lo is slowly figuring that out...as well as LC. I remember people really liked Lo on Laguna so it is kind of surprise how things turned around...

I get where you all are coming from... but you know... there has to be a b*tch... it would be boring if they all got along... and yeah it was a surprise that it turns out to be Lo... but that's what keeps us interested.

I can't really dislike Heidi and Spence anymore because frankly, their vapidness is just too hilarious.

Lo was so a sweet girl on laguna but she got a big head once shes on the hills, and now she is acting very snooty.

Wow Im shock that so many cannot see thru Audrina fakery... she doesnt give a hoot about her friendship with Lauren, she just wants as much screentime as possible.

Even if the show was 100% real and they were just normal rich people living their lives... it is always best to get along with your roomates because it is like your family in a sense... and both parties needs to make effort in order to build a friendship. Audrina has put zero effort into building some friendship with Lo... all she ever does is sulk, complain about how the girls are ignoring her and then stare vacantly into space.

I can totally see Lo's point of view... afterall she has a brain.

i agree. just imagine living with a good friend and then getting into a big fight. the whole atmosphere of the house would be awkward and tense and not a good place to live in. eventually you would drift apart. personally, i think something happened between Lo and Audrina that we didnt see because we all know that MTV edits this show to hell. they probably left out an argument or something between Lo and Audrina and made it look like Lo is just a plain b*tch.

What really sickens me is Spencer's behavior. It comes across as an abusive relationship. He wants Heidi all to himself. He doesn't even want to share her with her own family? You can tell when Heidi's sister asks her why she doesn't talk with her parents about her relationship with Spencer anymore. He has completely brainwashed Heidi. It's scary. She can't even finish greeting her sister properly, without having to "check" up on Spencer, first.

I don't understand what there is to not get along with Audrina about? She seems completely down to earth and sweet. Maybe Lo is just jealous of her and Lauren's friendship? Hopefully they'll work things out. It was uncalled for, her comment at the party though, about "we''ll just have to enjoy the company that comes, then" and completely escaping from the party to hide out upstairs?

I'm looking forward to more on Whitney, Lauren's dating life and work life, as well as the feud between Audrina and Lo finally getting settled. I also wonder what will happen with Heidi. I almost feel sorry for her, for her poor choice in choosing Spencer. :(

Doesn't that really go for all of them at this point? If you believe the gossip anyway, they are all doing their best to stay relevant. To be honest if Audrina is fake than Lo is just as phony, IMO. I don't buy into her "I'm innocent and being vilified for no reason" riff...

the comment she made on the episode at the party didn't seem to be edited so yeah lo's a b*tch

eww screw lo she really needs to get a personality beyond being an uppity snob. :yuk:

When You’re in ‘The Hills,’ You'll Never Be Friends

Aaaaand we’re back! We’ve spent all summer waiting for this very moment, and it’s actually here, like finally seeing your long-distance boyfriend. Or going on that long-planned trip to Italy. Or getting married. Yes, people, the premiere of the fourth season of The Hills is right up there with your wedding day. To our as-yet-to-be-determined future husband: Sorry, but it’s true. Okay, on with the recap. Feel the rain on your skin!
We open at People’s Revolution, where Lauren and Whitney are talking and, um, staring at jeans. Lauren tells Whitney that they’re throwing a birthday party for Audrina (providing the requisite "party scene" later on in the show, obviously), and also that she has a date. A date! Whitney’s face contorts. Lauren explains that back in the day she went to this kid’s prom with him. “Oh my gosh,” says Whitney. “Such a small world.” From now on, we’re counting how many times Whitney says “Oh my gosh” per episode.
We've landed at Bolthouse, where Heidi and her work "friend," Kimberly, are chatting on a couch. Heidi says her sister is coming to visit, but she’s not excited, because her McDoucherton boyfriend just moved back in and she hasn’t told him yet. We’re sad we didn’t get to see the actual move-in, when Spencer just took his stuff out of the closet and from under the bed … since they NEVER ACTUALLY BROKE UP. Whatever, we’re over it. Does Heidi have a Birkin? She does! My god, Hermès is going down the tubes.
L.C. goes on her date with the funnily named Doug, who looks a little like Ryan Reynolds, complete with too-close-together eyes. He’s a total idiot, but so is she, so it kind of works. “What have you been doing for the last four years of your life?” he asks her. HILARIOUS. Lauren hasn’t been up to anything special, Doug, we swear. Just normal becoming a reality-TV superstar/starring in a sex tape/not really in college/starting a fashion line/becoming a millionaire stuff. Before they even get their drinks, he asks her if they can go out again, and we smell a Hills hanger-on! Lauren invites him to Audrina's birthday party, and he's in. Yay.
Cut to Audrina's fiesta: Doug walks in wearing a sleeveless Lakers jersey. Ew: Never trust a guy in tank top. L.C. doesn't pay too much attention to him for the rest of the party, so there you go. Then Audrina’s punk friends roll in: There’s a guy with a huge mohawk and a guy with an earring that takes up his entire ear. Lo is turned off by the freak parade, of course, and Lauren tells her to “be the charming and friendly Lo that I know and love.” Wait, who’s that? Lo responds by going upstairs to be antisocial and play with the dog. But wait — JUSTIN BOBBY HAS ARRIVED. We are SO happy to see him. He’s wearing a leather jacket with writing on it, and he immediately tries to throw Audrina in the pool. That guy really knows how to make us laugh out loud.
Back from commercial, Heidi's sister — who now has a whole new set of horrible hair extensions, thanks to her big sis — is leaving town. She suggests moving out to L.A., as she doesn’t have anything going on in Colorado (good work with your daughters, Montag parents) — Spencer looks pissed, and now we have another plotline for the season.
And here’s that climatic talk, worthy of this episode's title. Lo has to confront Audrina; she says Audrina’s not making an effort, and Audrina says Lo is mean and that she and Lauren gang up on her. Audrina’s priceless, heartbreaking line: “I have friends that treat me good and I feel included and you don’t do that.” Awwwwwww. She has friends that treat her good! Even though she wears shirts that say "Hyper Crush Sex." Then she says, “We’ll never be friends.” Lo seems taken aback by this display of confidence and ends it with, “I’m going to leave you to your place.” She is such a snot.
Next week: The return of Stephanie Pratt! We can’t wait. We hope she and Holly become Hills-star-sister friends and conquer the world together.
And now, time for our

Unequivocal Hills Reality Index!
As Real As Lauren Is Awkward:
• Sadly, Heidi’s Birkin.
• Lo’s disdain for Audrina’s lifestyle. Can you imagine Lo and the mohawk guy even having a conversation? She’d never stoop so low.
• Audrina’s grammar. Even an MTV writer wouldn’t have her say that her friends treat her "good."
As Fake As Heidi’s Face:
• Heidi’s hair, first thing in the morning. We know a blowout when we see one, missy.
• Doug. He was crafted from various celebrity body parts, in a lab, to be Lauren’s new “love interest.”
• Holly’s visit/surprise revelation that she’ll be moving to L.A./hair.

Unsurprisingly, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have announced that they plan to get married on live TV!
Heidi tells Extra!, “I’m just waiting for that big ring.”
Reality TV’s most-talked-about couple also mentioned baby Speidis are on the way. Heidi gushed, “I want kids….eventually.”
As for any rumors that Heidi is leaving The Hills, she responds, “No, where would I go?”

just read that on justjared
i dont know if it was posted yet or not
sorry if it is.

it just made me laugh.

What really sickens me is Spencer's behavior. It comes across as an abusive relationship. He wants Heidi all to himself. He doesn't even want to share her with her own family? It is really hard to tell with these two because of the fakeness of their scenes. However, I dont understand why Spencer would want to purposely portray himself as someone who is mean to Heidi's sister. Plus, I remember Perez saying that Spencer is pulling all the string in the relationship when he was commenting for the top ten scenes. Brody and Frankie have both said that Heidi is like Spencer's robot... so there is a good chance that Spencer is really that CONTROLLING and it would def be an abusive relationship. I dont care for Heidi but I would love to see her dump Spencer.

Doesn't that really go for all of them at this point? If you believe the gossip anyway, they are all doing their best to stay relevant. To be honest if Audrina is fake than Lo is just as phony, IMO. I don't buy into her "I'm innocent and being vilified for no reason" riff...

IDK... I have yet to see Lo hanging out at a public pool infested with paps on a daily basis wearing barely there bikinis... But, yes I do think all of them are trying to be relevant and be able to work in their chosen field once the hills is over. IMO that is not being fake but being smart. Obviously, the hills is not going to last forever, after this season ... I can only see one more forced season... but it is the way they go about it. I dont think Lo has used Lauren to gain her fame however little it might be but the same cannot be said of Audrina.
