I'm going for a cat-eye look with these falsies...I've never used falsies before so do I apply the eyeshadow first or the falsies?

dunno if i looked over the answer to ur question, but id say u should apply the false eyelashes after applying all the eye make up (except the mascara of course).

its a hell of a job cleaning ur false lashes afterwards, when u cover them with eyeshadow.

Oooh, that's one of my favourite make-up pictures ever! Polina looks so gorgeous
When you look at it up close, it looks like she's wearing a lipstick with gloss over it....so first off, clear gloss is easy. MAC has a good one, very thick, very glossy.
As for a lipstick, you want to go for a nude, but one that's quite solid...as in a thick colour opposed to a glossy lipstick...You'll have to try it out to find the right one for your skintone. Since the whole look is 'golden', maybe try something like MAC lipstick in Freckletone...it's nude, but quite warm (judging by the website), so something like this might give the overall effect.

Ieva, the Valentino s/s 2007 lips almost look like a thin sheer lip gloss atop a lip stain.

also, I have an MAC eye shadow that looks just like what is in the corner of her eyes. It's a sparkling one called retro speck.

you've got plenty of time to mess around with the look. you should try different things until you perfect it in time for your open house.
