In that photo that Adi posted, the lip looks two-toned. Maybe it's just the lighting, but it looks like there's a berry stain layer, and on top of that near th centre of the lips, they applied a darker, sort of blackberry ish colour.

Adi, I was looking for a berry-stain color like that a while ago, and I found several good options from Revlon and Max Factor. I suggest you check out their lines of long-lasting lipsticks, I think those are best if you want to get a look like that to stay put

^ Technique, but eyeliner, make sure to get a cream formula, MAC cream liner for instance. DO NOT use liquid liner for this look. Smudging will take a lot of practice, I would suggest a q-tip.

I find Chanel 'Dragon' red works well as a dark red wine colour. On me anyway, I already have red lips naturally.
