Hmmm ... I think I vote for the Hugo Boss due to the detailing ... (*not* because it was my brilliant suggestion in the first place of course :p ;)) ... but I must admit, its being open is probably an unfair advantage. These coats look better open ... buttoned is just so ... buttoned up :p

^ I agree. Out of those...the Hugo Boss is my favorite...but the fact that it is unbuttoned gives it an edge which the others lack.

lol, ok..

Since I'm the one looking for opinions here, I'll put up the hugo boss buttoned, so everything is nice and even.

What I like about the Hugo Boss better than the others, buttoned, is the tab detailing at the neck.

The Theory peacoat I posted is quite sharp, *and* looks good buttoned or unbuttoned.

now i was never into prada so i know absolutely nothing about them. so i was wondering if anyone here can tell me alittle bit about them bags. any piece of info is appreciated.

thx.

Does anyone know where I might find a white pinafore? All I can find on ebay are childrens pinafores which I believe are too small. I am trying to create an alice in wonderland costume but thus far to no avail.

^oooo, I did not even see the Theory. My vote is for it.

I'd go with the Theory too, or the Kenneth Cole as a second choice. The Hugo Boss doesn't look great buttoned, and there's not much point having a winter coat that you can't do up!

Not sure if I am correct but I think Tom Cruise's girlfriend was photographed carrying one of these some time ago.

The photo is up on tfs, maybe you can try searching for it?

^ Agreed :flower: Hope you don't mind a peacoat after all Greatfire

Meg - Try costume shops :flower: I found two online that ship internationally. One is for the whole costume, but the other is just a pinafore and hat:

I wonder also if you could possibly make one or substitute with a frilly apron ;) Good luck! Sounds fun. I'm going as Gwen. Can't decide if I want to do the old school pink hair or platinum

the leather one is $1470, measurements: 10 1/3"H x 14"W x 6"D.

excuse me. can anyone please help id lily's bag? thanks you guys

thanks Curious, I thought about the apron thing but I wasn't even sure if a second hand shop would carry that sort of thing.

go platinum!!!

Greatfire - still prefer the Theory, too :flower: The A/X coat is a perfectly nice coat, but I think the Theory makes more of a statement...

No problem, Meg ;) Yeah, not sure if a second hand shop would carry aprons, but maybe a target or kmart (or whatever is comparable in London :p) might carry something that would work and not cost an arm and a leg.

BTW, you're my second vote for platinum! I'd like to go get the wig today, but it's 80s dress up day at work and I've participated. My boyfriend told me I should NOT make any stops on the way to and from work  I think I'll do it just to spite him :shifty::D

 don't be cheeky you! would be hilarious though to see you looking at wigs in 80's garb. I totally think you could rock the platinum though  :flower:
