[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, San Serif][SIZE=-1]Each piece of Nymphenburg’s Hidden Wealth dinnerware, designed by Khashayar Naimanan in a signed, limited-edition set, has a hand-painted pattern on the bottom and the manufacturer’s mark on top. On an ordinary table, the pattern would be hidden. But the set is sold only with a glass-top steel table by Mr. Naimanan, with a mirror beneath the serving surface, so everyone can see the pattern. The dinnerware comes in sets of 6 or 12 place settings — with the table — starting at $52,000. Store locations: (312) 421-3500.

Can you please put some big names of american interior designers and brands? Because here we only heard about european designers, if we want to know some amarican ones we must buy american magazines and we can hardly found them in Portugal.

hi! I'm a noob to this thread :) My bf and I just moved into a new condo and we're in the market for some bedding. Can anyone recommend some good ones? I was looking at the Fendi croc print sheets, or maybe Pratesi. We just want something quality that feels good.

I actually know a bunch of great bedding places in Massachusetts but that probably won't be of much help to you :p

Pratesi is supposed to be very good--definitely high end in terms of bedding.

this is interesting....

'celeste'
by Belgian designer Kris Van den Berghe

"Celeste is a sky" says Belgian designer Kris Van den Berghe. In fact, you can project images of the sky, day or night, onto the canopy to get the full celestial effect. But it's also surprisingly functional, as it can also be used as a separator to create privacy and as a screen for your projection TV. It's made of a white extensible material that can be dismantled and washed. Celeste was a graduation project at Katholieke Hogeschool Mechelen's school of architecture.

very cool! I don't think you need to get a brand name (like pratesi or any of the designer home collections) to get great high quality sheets. Anything above 800 thread count will be really luxurious.

I don't know if anyone here watched the english show 'location, location, location' but they were viewing this home in Hove (right next to brighton in the UK) and it has the most amazing bathroom. The part the two sinks were on was on a platform and there were small spotlights in the platform to illuminate the floor. And it had the original 1920's freestanding bath that the people who owned the house had re-enameled. it was beautiful.
