Saw them in NYC the other night. It was amazing (there was a fire, but I'll post about that another time). I'm sooo obsessed with them right now, even after being a distant, casual fan for several years. Midnight Boom was the album I've been waiting for...from them, and from anyone, actually. It's just a perfect record: inventive, daring, sexy, dangerous, and fun. It reminds me of Garbage at their peak, and Alison is my new Shirley.

LOVE them so much, and I'm happy to see their profile rapidly rising. The Gossip Girl promo is great, too!

P.S. If it's true that Alison might be the new Miu Miu, it will be just tooo eerily perfect as it will be one more way the Kills have tapped into other significant, nonmusical aspects of my life!

i saw them in detroit last night. they were great! a lot of raw energy on stage. i chatted up a guitarist from telepathe, the opening band. he said the kills are really awesome, obviously.
