My thoughts exactly. I love Shane but she needs (and deserves) a new/better story line. I don't think they're exploring the character as fully as they could which is a disappointment. And she needs to cut her hair shorter; she's so much hotter with short hair

Tasha is definitely a fave! I'm excited about what they're doing with the whole trial thing. Very important, IMO (I'll leave politics out of it per tFS guidelines).

And Jenny...well I was hoping she would float away on that boat never to be heard from again

^^ Oh yeah, I forgot about that whole floating on off into the sunset thing...I really don't get what they are doing with her character. It's like she went from goth and troubled to Paris Hilton wacko...

I really thought they'd explore Shane's relationship with the single mom before they sent her back into what is now a caricature of her former self. I mean, come on, flirting with the inmates? I admit that I chuckled a bit, but before, Shane's charm was that she didn't flirt...she just had this raw sex appeal almost in spite of herself that women responded to. Now it's just over the top flirtation and girl magnet stuff...But hey if she could bottle and sell some of that mojo, I'd buy it...

Definitely will be interested to see what they do with the issues surrounding Tasha's character. I hope that her growth to politicized soldier is accompanied by Alice's growth to seeing another side of an issue...broadening her perspective and complicating it a bit...again, treading lightly around the politics here...

it's like her story has gone to a whole new level... arson, being chased by some h***y girls at the same time... what's next?

oh btw I love that Lez Girls scene! Bev and Helen... !
it kind of decreased my dislike for Jenny... at least she has created this ultra creative story of the Lez Girls for us. very entertaining I would say!

to me all the sex was so gratuitous...it was ridiculous. In the season 5 promo, the director said that the viewers asked for more sex...okay, yeah but can it make just a little bit of sense within a storyline?

Shane has moved from character to caricature. Bette and Shane kissing satisfied my curiosity about what that would be like...(and let's never go there again.) But the whole wedding thing...ridiculous....

what happened with papi? she just 'disappeared'. i actually didn't like her so it doesn't bother me so much.. but still. the writers are just deleting things without explanations because they can't be bothered with it in anymore.. a bit annoying tbh

Jodi is not gonna be happy at all...she used to be all free-spirited, non-monogamous. Then Bette drew her into this relationship, she took Bette to meet her friends, became her girl, only to get dumped for the ex. Way to rip out a heart Bette...

But it was inevitable, I guess.

Hahahaha! i don't know, i'm still not down with the idea. when i saw her in The OC (another of my all time fave shows) it was such a turn-off. she's just soooo irritating, i can't stand the sound of her voice and she CANNOT ACT!!! but apparently her character is not going to be a lesbian and she won't have any lez scenes. lol, i'm such a paris hater and proud of it!
