Omg! I don't know if this has been posted yet but it was just mentioned on the Entertainment Tonight Show, that PARIS HILTON is going to make a guest appearance! Noooooooooooo!!! Why?! Oh why would they ruin the most perfect show with Paris Hilton!! Grrrrrr! This is going to be a disaster!

:angry::doh::blink::yuk::sick:

I heard the same in the morning news today. I am horrorfied! That would ruin a perfect show! Tell me it is not true! I cannot stomach Paris Hilton. That woman is a cosmic abnormality or a sub-human or both...

Getting an A-list celeb participating this show is not a bad thing, though.

by A list, i mean the amount of publicity she gets as a celebrity.

I see... Yes, she would certainly generate A LOT of publicity for the show. No doubt about it.

well she was the grand marshal of the gay pride parade in West Hollywood a couple years ago...and she does drag better than tons of gay guys, but what has she done for lesbians lately?

*gag* Paris Hilton? Really??

This is worse than having Mary Kate Olsen guest on Weeds :yuk:

I will say that I loved the end of this week's episode - Bette watching Jodi caring for a passed out Tina ... and what was Alice thinking?

On second thoughts, Hilton would generate publicity but I do not think that the show needs it. I am not at ease having Hilton associated with The L Word. Somehow, it kind of cheapen the whole concept.... I definitly do not agree with this.

Sunday's episode had one of my very favorite scenes of all-time! When all the girls were dancing to the Jackson 5 at Jenny's party  That was classic!

yes and the song "I want you back" was so appropriate for TiBette!

I Want You Back, The Jackson 5

Uh-huh huh huh huh
Let me tell ya now
Uh-huh

VERSE 1:
When I had you to myself
I didn't want you around
Those pretty faces always made you stand out in a crowd
But someone picked you from the bunch
one glance was all it took
Now it's much too late for me to take a second look

CHORUS:
Oh baby give me one more chance
(show you that I love you)
Won't you please let me
(back in your heart)
Oh darlin' I was blind to let you go
(let you go baby)
But now since I see you in his arms
(I want you back)
Yes I do now
(I want you back)
Ooh ooh baby
(I want you back)
Ya ya ya ya
(I want you back)
Na na na na

VERSE 2:
Tryin' to live without your love
Is one long sleepless night
Let me show you girl
That I know wrong from right
Every street you walk on
I leave tearstains on the ground
Following the girl
I didn't even want around
Let me tell you now

CHORUS:
Oh baby all I need is one more chance
(show you that I love you)
Won't you please let me
(back to your heart)
Oh darlin' I was blind to let you go
(let you go baby)
But now since I see you in his arms

Uh-huh
A buh buh buh buh (2 times)
All I want
A buh buh buh buh
All I need
A buh buh buh buh
All I want
A buh buh buh buh
All I need

(Jermaine):
Oh just one more chance
to show you that I love you
baby! (6 times)

(I want you back)
(Jackie):
Forget what happened then
(I want you back)
(Jermaine):
Let me live again

Oh baby I was blind to let you go
But now since I see you in his arms
(I want you back)
(Jackie):
Spare me of this cause
(Jermaine):
Gimme back what I lost

Oh baby I need one more chance ha
I tell ya that I love you

Here is an article and poll about Paris on the L Word:

I was going to write about Paris Hilton's "make-up" appearance on David Letterman last week, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. I am officially sick of her (and she appears to have hit the wall, quite frankly) and I have to believe that Paris is on the verge of irrelevancy....right? Well, now comes word, albeit from Paris' own mono-syllabic mouth, that she is about to do a guest stint on The L-Word. Now granted, there has been scuttlebutt lately about Paris flirting with the L Word girls at the premiere party, exchanging numbers with Ilene Chaiken, and some late-night same-sex exploits (involving former 24 cutie Elisha Cuthbert, no less). But knowing Paris as we do, there is not a genuine bone in her body, so I'm sure we can all agree that she is just doing this to make sure Britney doesn't push her out of the tabloids completely, especially with her new movie coming out soon. So what could possibly be Chaiken's motivation for putting Paris on The L-Word? Is she really giving lesbians what they want, or is this merely a publicity-stunt aimed at creating some buzz and getting a few horny guys in their 20s to tune in?
Honestly, I have to think lesbians are smarter than that. At least the ones I know are. There is nothing appealing about Paris Hilton, and certainly nothing redeeming. Can't we all band together and just say no to her using gay media to save her flagging career? A quick glance at IMDB will show she's got nothing else in the works...which tells me that perhaps the straight world is coming to its senses. Let's hope Chaiken and the rest of the L-Word ladies do too.
We want to know what you think -- and we want to know if lesbian and gay fans of the show have different opinions on this! Lesbians -- click here to cast your Paris on "L Word" vote; gay men click here.

aww i actually thought alice was going to get sued and I wanted to see her go to court and battle it out..

but remember when paris hilton was going to be on the OC and everyone turned it into such a big deal and in the end she was only on the show for like 2 seconds, at some club in LA no less? this may just be all hype and her 'guest appearance' may only turn out to be a cameo where she's a traffic warden directing traffic or something :p

^^LOL! those 2 seconds she was in The OC was the most dreadful 2 seconds of my whole life!

^ Leisha Hailey (Alice), Daniele Sea (Max), Laurel Holloman (Tina) is rumored to be bi, and Katherine Moennig (Shane) is rumored to be gay but has never come out publicly.
