Good there are 3 willing enough people to kidnap them :shifty:

Once I read Pete said he would record a new The Libertines album, with our without Carl. But I'm not sure.

^The Libertines without Carl
for christ sake Carl, why cant you make you fans happy just by recording an album with Pete??
we are beggin you babe"!!

Oh I found it! But it's impossible to read something besides the title

do you guys think he'd dare? i'd be surprised... the libertines without them two together simply isn't the libertines, and he has babyshambles and a solo career, he could just record another solo album...
in the october issue of elle uk it says "he [pete] thinks that, next year, the libertines will reunite to make a third album. 'but there's things i'd really like to get done before, during and after whatever happens with the libertines'". he's been saying this repeatedly, so i guess he really wants this reunion to happen in 2010... i think i can wait a little. a little. and i hope he stops with this "with or without carl" talk.

^I find it pretty weird too that Pete would record a The Libertines album without Carl, especially because he already has Babyshambles

i don't belive it until i HEAR it!!!!
every few months i read the same thing... :( and than nothing!

^thats so true. I hope they stop playing those silly games and make a record already :judge:

Carl Barat: 'I'm too busy to reform The Libertines in 2010'
He also lambasts fans for texting him pretending to be Pete Doherty
Carl Barat has said he will not reform The Libertines until at least 2011, because he is too busy.

Speaking at the premiere of the 'Breaking Rocks' film at Proud Camden in London last night (October 1), Barat told the BBC that The Libertines will not reform in 2010, adding that he doesn't want to simply regroup for money.

"I'm too busy next year. Maybe the year after that," he said. "See how it goes. When it needs to happen, it will fall into place. It's more a way of life than a band for me. I’m not going to jump up there and play the songs for some money – if it feels right then it will fall into place."

Barat also stated that he hasn't spoken to Pete Doherty "for a while", though he keeps being sent text messages from fans pretending to be his old bandmate.

"I keep getting kids texting me pretending to be Pete, which is a bit confusing because I never know when it actually is [Doherty]," he revealed. "Without realising, I could be harming my diplomatic relations with Pete by sending reactionary texts."

In March this year, Pete Doherty told NME.COM that The Libertines have "unfinished business", and was keen to get the group back together.

^Too busy?? doing what?? thats rubbish imo. I think that he is giving that Too Busy excuse to not become the villian of the history by saying he doesnt want to :judge:
the text messaging thing is quite hysterical, I wonder if its really truth or he is just misunderstanding the texts :shifty:?
as much as I'm annoyed by the fact that The Libertines are not back together just yet, I must admit that their sick game is rather entertaining.

Shouldn't you be in bed right now? :shifty: (looking who's talking )

it's these damn videos, they keep popping up on my computer screen:judge:

(and i'm trying to finish an essay - see? i'm such a role model. i could be drunk at a halloween party right now.)
