I've been thinking of buying MSF, but I'm worried that the shimmer-particles are too noticable? Because then it wouldn't be any good for day (which is when I need it).

it really depends on which MSF it is. a lot of them do have noticable glitter, but some of them (like lightscapade and porcelain pink) have more of a sheen than anything. lightscapade is especially glowy... no shimmer particles to be seen!

Does anyone know how the Mac paints work? Are they really long lasting/smudge proof? Cuz I have this problem where my eyes constantly water and I can't wear eye makeup. But when I do, I end up rubbing it all off! Thanks!

#734 if u were talkin about the powepoint pencils, then im afraid to tell you that they aren't smudge proof, but they do last for a good amount of time.
i have the same problem that u have, and i found the technocolor liners the least smudgy liner i'v ever used, check them out.

but dang! they were already sold out of the pink nailpolish. im going to have to look for that in stores. this is what i bought:
barbie loves mac lipstick in rocking chick and in real doll, beauty powder is pearl blossom, springtime skipper eyeshadow, blush in dont be shy and malibu barbie lipglass.

i have not bought any mac products before and i only owned 2 barbies when i was a kid....but i do like the looks of this collection a lot!

I mailed http://www.maccosmetics.com yesterday and I got an answer today.
The names of the models are Mona (the blonde) and Emanuella (the brunette). I don't know their last names. She also wrote how I would do to get their makeup looks. If anyone is intererested I can write it down.
