The MAC Makeup Thread

I rarely use MAC foundation. It makes me break out too. I use the concealer and loose powder, but not the foundation. It covers really well, so for special nights out I use it, but not on a daily basis.

I use Bare Escentuals daily as my foundation. Good stuff. But just about everything else is MAC.

Me too! I love my BE foundation. I used to use Mac Studio Fix and before that I used Mac's liquid foundation and I had an issue matching the color and plus it made my face look really oily. Living in hot weather oil based foundations don't do very well so I went to mineral foundation.

^ Same, I used to use the liquid but when I moved to humid Nashville it wasn't gonna work for me I switched to BE and it works everywhere I have lived and travel to. It really is fantastic

they have mineralize skin finish foundation (the liquid one) already, so they are having a power version of it???

Ah yes, forgot about that. But thats in a solid compact. Mineral foundations are usually loose powder.

What's everyone's opinion of the holiday collection so far? I'm thinking of getting the curiousitease pigments and soft sparkle eye pencil. I've actually never tried the eye pencil before so should I go for an individual one, which one is good? Or go for the holiday set? How do you use pigments, as eyeshadow or something else?

What do you recommend as basic "must-have" eyeshadow colours from MAC? I have:shroom, vex, jest, shale, bronze, paradisco and woodwinked...but I want to build up my e/s choices. (I have olive skin, dark brown eyes and light hair). THANKS!!

I use my pigments as eyeshadows, but I do have a girlfriend who sometimes uses a few of hers as highlighters or blush.

TUGA - try a pigment. They have great shine and come in a plethora of colors for any highlighting need
