Wow, I am so stoked that it is coming out a week early! I was going to sign up for one of those beauty event things that Nordie's does for the Heatherette but if it is out tomorrow, I might just have to go and get the pieces I want before work!!! (and transfer money into my checking account for that purpose)

See I need to get both the glitters if I can, the Style Minx lipglass, and the Hollywood Nights lipstick. I'm not really blown away by the eyeshadows, and the eyeliners could come at a later time. Those are the four things I really want though.

my mother is a buyer/rep for macys, so between all of her discounts, i get 50% off, and i didn't even know it! i'm so glad! what a great deal!

i was really excited to see that Fleshpot lipstick is part of the Heatherette collection, since it's a permanent pro-only shade i've wanted for awhile but never got around to ordering. it's already in my MAC 'shopping cart'... just waiting for it to become available on the site.
i'm not sure that i'll really want any of the other Heatherette items... i love the 3D Silver Glitter but i'm not sure i can justify the cost when it's an item i'll probably wear two or three times. i still have items from the last few collections sitting in my cart:

• Fafi Flash n Dash Lipstick
• Strobe Liquid
• Sweetness Beauty Powder

by the way, has anyone tried the Strobe Liquid and compared it to Strobe Cream? i'm not sure which would be best for me. i heard that the liquid doesn't provide any moisture benefits but works better over makeup as a highlighter.

Has anyone ordered from MAC online and had to wait over a week for their order!!? I am still waiting and I don't think I will ever order online again. It was supposed to be a time saver to have things delivered to my office but now the weekend is here and I can basically get everything in the store. Strobe cream and Sweetness Beauty Blush are part of my order and I am dying to try them!!! I guess I will get them on Monday - hopefully.

That's strange! Did they email you with a tracking number? I ordered Sweetness blush late on Friday 3/14. I got an email on Monday 3/17 that it had shipped and they provided me with a UPS tracking number. I just checked UPS.com and it says my order will be delivered today. If it does indeed come today (I have little faith in UPS) that will be 3 business days. Also, what does the order status say on MAC's website?

Unfortunately Canada and the US differ on the site for shipping status. In the US you can get a UPS tracking number but not for Canada - I have to call instead which I have not done (might be a good idea). My order status was shipped as of the next day of my order on 3/12 which is why I am confused that it's taking so long. I will give them a call and see what's up. Thanks for the feedback

So I saw all the Heatherette stuff today...Boy, when I first heard about the collection, I had wanted EVERYTHING. I walked away today with NOTHING. Not even the purple liner I wanted to get -- it was so unoriginal that I have at least 3 that look similar.

This is a first for me, girls.

Yeah I went this morning before work, and they didn't even have the marketing tray for Heatherette up yet! Insane. I tried on a few of the lipsticks-Fleshpot I didn't try because I don't like those shades, and I didn't have time to try the Melrose one. The Hollywood Nights lipstick looked great in the pictures but I don't like how matte it is. I love stuff that has a bit of a shimmer to it. (I will probably get it if there is still some by my payday though) The Lollipop Lovin one looks cool too, that is another possibility. I got the 3D Silver glitter as well as the Style Minx lipglass and am VERY happy with them. I almost got the Reflects Gold glitter but it is too subtle for my tastes-I'd wear the 3D almost everyday.

Can anyone tell me a good Cremestick liner in red? Similar to Red Enriched (LTD edition), I want to apply it with Russian Red if that makes sense...

I checked out Heatherette yesterday and wasn't really blown away. I did get the purple eyeliner - I can't pass up purple eye makeup, it's kind of a sickness I also got the Alpha Girl Beauty Powder (I'm very fair and I think it will be great for a clean summer look) and the Hollywood Nights lipstick (which only looks good applied lightly, IMO). I may end up with more (I always do) but my first impression was that the collection was just OK. Fafi was much better.

My biggest disappointment, however, was not Heatherette but the loose mineral powder. I had been going crazy with anticipation and they don't even have a color light enough for my complexion! Not to mention the fact that it's really sparkly - and I don't want my foundation to sparkle. So sad

EDIT: My Sweetness blush did arrive yesterday! It's everything I hoped it would be! L.A. Gant - did you get your order sorted out? I'm really looking forward to your review of Strobe liquid

I have that as well and really like it.
Just a bit of colour to brighten up your face, but not obvious at all.

I love alpha girl too lol, it is really sheer and it have a really naturally blush

I have also try hollywood night (your thought is the exactly same as mine ) and lollipop loving (i love it with a lil bit of hollywood night under it ) is cute too

now the problem is the monkey >.< ...
but anyhow, how does you guys like plush lash?

Plush Lash rocks. I picked it up on a whim and really like it. It has a great fluffy brush.
